1. I think the fact the Bills were considering trading Clements for Booger McFarland says that they were not confident they could re-sign Clements.

I believe the bills were offering a 3rd pick not clements, we needed a run stoffer but we wernt that desperate to trade our best corner

  2. Does anyone here now how to contact the nfl and try to get this blackout rule out of professional football, it is stupid and it costs businesses money bc they arnt able to show the game thus, less customers thus less income thus more blackouts. Simple economics shows why this stupid, can we convince the NFL that it is too?

  3. Pevious posts made it clear that the Bills should focus on keeping their own free agents.  I agree. BUT ...I think, if they want to make a seroius run in the AFC,  they would need to be a little more active in the off-season.

Their are some wasted roster spots that could be filled with more productive players. Here are some of the needs that need to be filled.

Shaud Williams- - -replaced with a real 3rd down back

Tim Anderson----with a DT that fits more their scheme.

Everett- - - With a stretch the field big target wr'ing te.

Reyes- - Young Gaurd to challenge Duke would be great. It would also allow Gandy to bump out in case of injury at OT.

Price/Reed---I like both of them but a big WR at Z and one of these guys or Parish in the slot would be better.

Haggan - -They need a linebacker that cannot only play special teams but could actually play some defense.

I'm not trying to be negative..just would like to know what you think.

I agree with most but i believe you gotta keep Price and reed, reed has been steady all year and price is getting better by the week. also i would ex Shelton but only if we get a great Fb in the draft. forgot he guys name from rutgers i think.

  4. As we all know the Bills are playing the Dolphins and Titans the next two weeks. Considering how much hype these 6-7 teams have had lately the question here is whether the Bills will prove all the talking heads wrong and show that the Bills are the true team on the rise, even more so than the Dolphins and Titans.

If the Bills do not make the playoffs, sweeping these two games would be a nice consolation prize in that it would force the talking heads--who base their bull on stat sheets and nationally televised games--finally to have to take notice on how the Bills have improved this year.

On the other hand, all our complains about the national media will look silly if the Bills don't show up for these 2 games.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Aside: can you believe that the Bills had to play the two arguably best teams in the conference as their two variable games this year b/c for some reason third place last year is the source of elite teams this year? Compare this to the Jets who got the Browns and the Raiders and the Patriots who face the Broncos and the Steelers.

I know this didn't warrant its own thread, but whatever... I hardly start new threads.

I hope that we get some respect if we win out but every time we play well and beat someone (see jets dolphins jags) the (jets dolphins jags) played badly the bills still suck :w00t:

National medias gay. O and so is Bob Mathews

  5. Your untrained eyes must have blinked during his 63 tackles and 2 picks returned for 76 yards. For a rookie, I think he's coming along nicely. He's in on most plays in the secondary and does a good job wrapping up. No Coy Wire arm tackles from this guy.

    862765

Ya i i was worried when they had to throw him in the lineup so early but he has really impressed me. Every time i see him hes in on the tackle and making plays. Glad we got him

  6. During the telecast, one of the announcers said that JP wanted to show everyone that the Bills had the guys already there to be a good offense and didn't need anyone else.  I didn't agree with that, but like how things are slowly turning around.

    862187

Godda admit wouldnt mind a huge guard that can make some bigger holes. But right now i believe this team can beat anyone in the league when they play at the top of their game. Kudos to the Buffalo Bills organization from ralph to the janitor for putting a good product on the field after Donahoe left. The buffalo Bills should be feared by every team. I would'nt wanna play us.... hahahahahah sweet GO BILLS

  7. the one thing i love about jp is he does statrt fairly strong, then in the middle of the game he manages it well, and when we really need him to make a play he can (see texans and jags) he also (i think) would have tied the SD game had he gotten the ball back at the end. every week it seems like hes improving and he hasnt a a bad game (in terms of causeing a loss) all year (maybe you could argue bears but that was more overmatched in my eyes) plus he wants to get better, hes not out for the paycheck he wants to play football and be succesful. Jp should be here a while and that ok with me

  8. 1. The Bills will score the first 10 points. 10-0

    2. Defense will hold Pennington and company scoreless for the first half.

    3. During Jets opening drive Pennington is knocked out by Coy Wire.

    4. Ramsey or that Oregon guy comes in and score 21 unanswered points.

    5. Bills offense comes alive scoring 17 points, making it 27-21.

    6. With 10 seconds left, the Jets drive for the go ahead TD as the back-up QB breaks a tackle by TKO that would have made the Jets turn the ball over on downs.

    7. Jets kick off a squib kick that somehow reaches McGee.

    8. With an escort of blockers, McGee breaks through... the 20, the 15... OH NO, his blocker has knocked him down, OH NO, he falls out of bounds.... GAME OVER

    28-27 Jets win.

    858867

my only question with your prediction is how pennington will be knocked out of the game and then lead his offense to 0 points in the first half.

o and you forgot about the bills winning

  9. Has anyone noticed how much better the offense plays in the no-huddle?

The WR's seem to get open, Losman makes great decisions..JP seems much more efficient and a GREAT player when he doen't take his time in the huddle...he goes out, calls the play and relies on his abilities..the offense moves the ball so well

I honeslty think that the Jets game, if it wasn't poring out at the end of the game, Losman would have pulled that game out...

Another thought is that Cielsak should be starting at TE; I hate Royal He can't catch; Everett was a total waste..A TE in this offense needs to be able to catch the ball

    856526

I was thinking that when i listened to the game yesterday but it does take a lot of practice to even be able to do that for a series much less a whole game. I wish they would do it more but not until there good at it. next year would be a good time to start it

  10. Ok your post is a little hard to read and you kinda jump all over the place, pick a topic and discuss. I stopped when you said we need a qb that wont lose a game, bc the lack of a running game and being down by 17 at halftime certinly didnt help our cause today. Idk if you noticed but when jp came out after the half we scored 14 like that and it was a different ball game, and he got us within a field goal with a chance to tie it if we got the onside kick back. that performace is far from "losing a game"

O and the qb youe thinking off for DJ 13-3 year was two qbs Shane Mathews and Jim Miller
