The last 4 years the Colts have stunk in August and came out winning big in September & October. That's what happens when you have a top QB who can carry a team who doesn't play much, (or at all) in preseason. Preseason means nothing other than individual player evaluation. The best example is the year the Jets went undefeated in preseason & then went 1-15 when it counted.
The things that would worry me the most are things like missed tackles, blown coverages, getting beat off the line, not looking to play, looking like they ahve lost a step ect. When i have watched some of these games i see that, i dont see any fire in the pats at all, no pride nothing. Dont get me wrong i love it but you gotta wonder about that super bowl hangover

I think you are missing the point. McGahee has the physical tools, even after the knee wreck. What he doesn't seem to possess is heart, desire, and dedication to perform consistently.
Mcgahee had the potential to be a top 5 back for years. Teaming him with Henry would have made the Bills incredibly dangerous and really its a shame that Mcgahee and Henry didnt have the heart to work individually or together maybe history in Buffalo would be a little different

Yea
Funny every time

per rotoworld
It would reportedly take a "miraculous recovery" for FS Ed Reed (shoulder) to be ready for Baltimore's season opener.
Reed is a bit overrated, but the voice of Baltimore's secondary and a three time All Pro, so this helps Carson Palmer's matchup. Special teamer Jim Leonhard will start. Cincy's passing game should kick off with a bang.
Leonard was decent in coverage and sometimes got some good picks but the Bills found better talent decent backup and special teamer but not an everyday starter

I`m a big Edwards fan ,but it looks to me like Edwards is really hurting. This type of injury could easily be reagravated with another hit. I guess were glad we didn`t trade the bearded one. Lets Go Buffalooooo
I love JP and i still think hed be a good QB in the league but please can you just stick with one. Edwards is the starter please let it be that way for 10 years thats all i want

I just wish we knew they were talking. Then i might believe it but im preparing for walker to be the LT and Chambers to be the RT

Check out Buffalo Bar Fly for information on bars and restaurants. Papaya is a great restaurant and is frequented by a lot of players, Kawika Mitchell is a regular there...
What does he order?

Marcellus showing lots of love for his old team:
Most Important Offensive Player - Marshawn Lynch
Most Impactful rookie - Leodis McElvin
Though he still picked us to go 8-8 behind the Jets.
(IMO - we will beat the Jets twice this year, including a blowout at the Meadowlands).
Agreed the Jets look great on paper but so did we every season with Donahoe i forsee 6-10 for the jets, 3-13 dolfags 12-4 pats and 11-5 bills

Hardy, Parrish, Reed & even Price for Monk. I read an article about this kid from jimmy the greek and he says he's one of the best receiver's he's seen strap one on.
Too bad he got cut sounds like hes an all pro
-
Perry Fewwells info?!?!?! LOL. belicheck needs Perry's Defensive Info like a Moose needs a tie rack. Fewell will be luck to have a college defense backs coaching job after this season. 31st ranked defense = bye bye
Our d gives up alot of yards but kept us in some games too. With the new additions and ya know some starters this could be a much different year

is an abomination and should be barred from public view. That is all.
It's late...
I thought he was making some solid tackles in the first two preseason games but thats just me
-
You think Steve Johnson gets cut?
Jenkins looks good but I think we keep Steve
Jenkins has been play some reciever with the first team if i remember right also he is a standout on ST. Havent seen much of Steve even if he is the TBD hero jmo

bias bias bias
i love it
still mcgahee was great and still great
let go of the ego people.
Someone should take their own advice

Here's a question for the group- what taking so long with Lee Evans getting extended- He's the guy everyone points to as how Peters should have handled his contract and yet still no contract- if he not signed before the regular season he will probably test free agency.
Not necessarily Evans has siad he wants to stay, a deal will get done soon and if not right after the season but Evans will eb a Bill for a while i hope anyway

Irons is a surprise cut, no? I thought he was starting at LB for the Raiders last year.
Says he only started one game only played in two last year. Played in 15 in 2006 tho
-
Deshawn Whynn?
Rookie of the week nominee
-
Just checked the first round of cuts on NFL. com no one im interested it, not even by a long shot
-
Has this guy locked it down opposite McGee? I feel like I haven't even seen the guy play, let alone hear his name called during a preseason game.
I know he's look great in camp (could be a practice hero, who knows?) so I'm assuming they're trying to get a better eye on Youboty, James and Corner, for those last spots. But I'm fairly certain he doesn't even have a stat yet.
No news is good news
-
No, wrong, false. You do not, I repeat DO NOT cut your long snapper unless you have a proven person to bring in. We have done this before and it has killed us. Neill stays, period.
I went to the final practice at Fisher and Jabari Greer was doing long snapping for field goals rotating with neil. Just saying

One thing i loved from watching last night
The offense moves no matter who is in there which is great to see
-
Peters was a UDFA TE, so what does draft order have to do with how good you are?
PTR
I was talking more about his strengh which as someone else pointed out is suspect
-
Are you watching the game? He played well, he's clearly got great feet. Are you telling me you didn't see that?
He looked ok but he was picked in the 7th round for a reason, No freeny also helped, id rather not see him protecting our QBs blind side. I want peters and if not him walker after that im worried

He was signed when a few guys were hurt bascially as a training camp body to keep the other guys fresh. At best he was a maybe down the line guy if we need a wideout
