  1. Okay, they actually didn't say they that. But I'm sure if you were to ask Chan Gailey, he'd say: "If you dog one of us, you dog all of us".

Can Buffalo seriously get some better sports reporters than the negative nancy's that report for the team? First, WGR said it was gonna be the offense that was gonna be horrible, now it's defense and special teams. Plus, the two cry babies that write for the Buffalo news never have anything good to say about the Bills (Sullivan & DiCeasre - how ever that clown spells his name). Plus, bugged-eyed Clayton, has this geek even played a sport...ever? How did this dork ever make it to TV? IMO, ESPN has no credibility anymore. I think I watched 30 seconds of their draft coverage and switched it right back to the NFL network, it looked like a male version of "The View" instead of actual draft coverage. For WGR, the Buffalo News & Uber-Geek Clayton, this video is for you: youtube.com/watch?v=QqolWUgxz7E&feature=related

:worthy::w00t: Berman is the only one worth watching on ESPN now...Hasselback is ok and i Enjoy Jaws alot buts about it

  2. Yes...I'm not a huge Fitzpatrick fan...but the guy has more experience and got the most crucial snaps in the backup position over Brohm.

Fitzpatrick sealed his roster spot tonight as well as David Nelson, Reggie Corner, and Ellis Lankster.

That leaves Brohm out of the equation.

I agree Fitzy is the better backup option and good for him i like and respect fitzy. Lankster has been beaten alot this preseason...curious why you think hes got a roster spot?

Brohm could be out but i wouldnt be surprised if we traded fitzy and kept Brohm....He has much better upside than Fitzy

  3. But, here's the thing, we don't have to like it. Yes, Trent is currently the QB. But he sucks and I don't like it. I will let express my dislike for him every chance I get. That does not diminish the fact that I am a diehard Bills fan. I love the team and want them to be successful. I really don't like Trent Edwards and wish he were not on my team. I am rooting for him to be successful and will cheer when he does something well, but I will also boo at him and complain about him when he does something bad.

    Thats fair

  4. MADDOG (let's hope the name does not indicate your demeanor),

This is not about 'rights'. You have the right to p!$$ your pants in public and act like nothing happened. Does that mean that you do it? Acting stupidly is not 'freedom'.

What is at issue here, is why would you go to a PRACTICE setting and expect regular season results? Heck, why would you expect anything? It's PRACTICE. That is moronic. Practice has nothing....NOTHING to do with performance. As Edwards, Gailey, etc have all said they are working on the fundamentals of football in order to improve the football team. One does not improve by being 'perfect'. And how do you think one does get better, anyways?

Chan is not panicking. If he was panicking, he would be listening to the boneheads who- as has been rightfully observed- were guests of the Bills. He would hear the jeers of the morons, take it as sage advice, and bench Edwards. Gailey, as the head coach of the Bills, acted like one. He set the tone and led by example that you mess with one, you mess with all. That's the formation of what I like to refer to as a SPINE. Something the Bills have not had in over 10 years.

+1  Well said sir i agree 100%

  5. Like said above Gloves are personal preference...i used to wear them all the time but then i found i was depending on gloves to cathc the ball make the tackle ect. But once i switched to just my hands i became a better and more confident palyer but that was just me

Most of all its about fun. The memories i have from football are never the lessons on the field or any coaching i had, it was the expierence of sweating and bleeding and fighting for and with my teammates...Thats what i miss most... Thats what is important...especailly at that age

  6. A couple months ago i posted about how i was doing a cross country road trip and working in yosemite national park for the entire summer. being out here has gotten me excited to do something else and on the advice of a friend out here i began reading a book called vagabonding by Rolf Potts. About 30 pages in i decided this as for me. its about the art of long term travel and how to do it fairly cheap. One of the chapters is about finding people who have had the vagabonding expierence and can share their advice about how to do it. So im asking here first

I would like to start in Australia. I have family that lives in Canberea so i figured i would start there. Anyone have any advice to share about Vagaboding? Any advice would be helpful as im starting to save money already for my trip in i hope two years from now.

    Thanks in Advance....Go Bills

  7. What people think he was before he was drafted doesn't matter. What matters is how he did as a pro. He wasn't that great. That's why he ended up on the practice squad. How many "2nd to 3rd round talents" end up on the practice squad? They don't. He may have been thought to be a 2nd to 3rd round talent, but what Jamon Meredith is is a 5th rounder who wasn't good enough for Green Bay to keep on the active roster and didn't play well for us last year when he had a chance.

Is Clausen a top ten talent just because some guys thought he might be taken there? Nope. I think Clausen might be a huge success, but he was picked in the mid-second, and that's how he should be referred to. Remember "1st or 2nd round talent" "how did we ever get him in the 4th" Ko Simpson? How did that turn out?

I understand the urge to desperately look for the silver lining. But it often leads you to fool yourself. He's an RT, and hasn't even shown himself to have the talent to be a starter there.

Only 64 players are drafted in the first and second round... Its possibly maybe 65 or more had the talent to be picked there
