Tim tebow minght never win a super bowl but it wont be because he had bad work ethic. This kid wants to be good and appears willing to do whatever it takes to do it and i really respect that. If Nix and Gailey think they can make him into a winner at this level then im willing to let him try

Browns sign Benjamin Watson

Benjamin Watson is a Cleveland Brown.
Watson, a free agent tight end who played his entire six-year career with the New England Patriots, has signed a three-year deal with the Browns. As first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, it's a $12 million contract with $6.35 million guaranteed.
A league source who confirmed the deal to PFT says the $6.35 million guaranteed will be paid out completely in the first year of the deal.
The 29-year-old Watson played in all 16 games for the Patriots last season, starting seven and catching 29 passes for 404 yards and five touchdowns.
2 of those came in 3 mins against the bills

oh man watch at like 1:05 in the video....he's running and twirling and doesn't do anything but prevent himself from getting downfield and sealing off the safety so RUN DMC can score. Damnit. Guys im starting to get realy depressed about the Bills. I was almost always a fired-up optimist and wanted to give Nix and Gailey some time to make things happen. I liked the newly assembled coaching staff and training staff. I couldn't understand why people were flipping out when 4 hours into FA Bills hadn't signed a second tier FA (Posey, Dockery, Walker). But im getting bummed out now. Im starting to lose some interest. Bills are not all-consuming in my life anymore the past 2 months, like how it used to be. Im !@#$ing bummed out and bored. Blast me if you must, but I no longer have much faith and care in this squad. The glass is no longer half-fulf too me, its half-empty, stale, warm and full of ciggarrette butts.
So after seeing one play you are giving up hope?

If he was really only tendered a 4th rounder id be willing to take a long hard look at that. If Gailey thinks he can be of use then do it

He started for 3 years...ya with the raiders but there are only 32 starting RT spots in the NFL. He had one of them for 3 years. You cant pay league minimum just because some guy on a message board hasnt heard of him or seen him play. Be realistic please

Has to be a team willing to trade a proven commodity for an unproven commodity. Not many teams want to do that why would they all of a sudden do it this year?

If/when Whitner is traded/released will that cement Marv as the worst GM in NFL history? I know Millen was awful but Marv's decisions wereworse. Not trading down when Denver offered, Tutan Reyes, Bennie Anderson, trading up for McCargo and Poz, grossly overpaying for langston Walker, Robert Royal, Derrick Dockery, and listening to a cancer riddled Bill Walsh about Trent. Fred Jackson. That's his only contribution....

Why? i think hes right. If werent for a few injuries and bonehead decisions this team was able to play with most teams and compete even with ryan fitzpatrick at QB. The talent was here and the team played hard...we had bad coaching. I wouldnt be shocked if Gailey made this team a playoff team in a year
