Garrison Sanborn has been very vocal this preseason

DId this with my friends a year ago... who could go the longest without shaving or trimming their beard. Losers bought the winner a 12 pack of a beer of the winners choice.
I think this year I'm gonna do a now shaving my moustache, see how that goes.
Alll for a 12 pack huh ahaha. I wouldnt mind doing it but I do have to interview for jobs and/or grad schools soon sooooo I gotta sit this one out

He actually did a nice job deflecting as much of the impact as he could.
Ill give him credit there. It wasnt that bad of a hit, rub some dirt on it and shake your pom poms

I live here in Boston and this morning's sports radio talk was talking about who the Patsies chose as their captains...was wondering have we selected our captains yet? If not who are you guys hoping gets the big C? cheers!
I'm just speculating but I beleive it will be Fitzy, Wilson and Moorman
-
Now, another Indianapolis radio host is upping the ante.
Jake Query of WNDE, citing two unnamed sources whom he trusts, reports that Manning already has had another procedure on his neck, and that he’ll miss the entire 2011 season.
Football aside, I hope he is ok. A neck injury is nothing to mess around with. I would hate to see Peyton retire but football is just a game
-
At least 7-9 isnt his lucky charm
-
Maybe the good lord will cause Belicheck to get tired of caoching and retire and take Marsha with him

Exactly. Attitude is not everything but it is important. And it starts with the HC. Everybody knows how hard it is to win in the NFL. The HC needn't remind everyone.
Players will take on the personality of their leader. I love this attitude and I hope it trickles down to the backup waterboy. Expect to win

Gald hes back, Class act and a good player
-
You know the saying, good things always start 25 years apart
-
I think there is a reason that this is his first opening weekend start. He's not very good. He's a great backup an mediocre (at best) starter.
I think your beer is half full. Mine is
Tasty

Championship!

It's not shocking that Garrard lost his job for the reasons you mention. The timing is shocking. I mean, who waives their starting QB right at the beginning of the season??? Besides the Bills of course who similarly cut TE 8 days into the season! Major personnel moves don't happen now. Well, besides the Bills firing their OC right before the season a couple years ago.
The browns started Charlie Fye, benched him by halftime and traded him on Monday. Went 10-6 that year and had a pro bowl QB (Yes I know DA sucks)
-
If you talk to the Raiders they'll tell you going undefeated in your division doesn't even get you to the playoffs...Gotta win as many as you can.
Talk to the Bucs too, 10-6 and no playoffs... win them all
19-0

The pats* cant last forever like this
-
I can't beleive they let Jimmy Clausen get away from them at 9!

Got my Hindsight jersey ready to go

I wish I could find stats for how our run defense did when the starters were playing... because overall stats this pre-season shows us giving up about the same ypc
Hmmm I'll see what i can dig up
EDIT
Thats the play by play for the jags preseason game. In the first half the jags had 10 rushes for 28 yards and their long run was 9 yards.
I think weve improved a bit and that was without Merriman
-
Would your wife agree?
Ha i'm not married (only 23) But I can't say I've ever been to tired for those activities
-
He's mighty mite in Pop Warner. So he's in the 7-9 age group. He plays guard and defensive end. He's definitely he smallest lineman on the field, but can't be trusted with the ball yet.
If he beefs up a little bit you could start at LT for us next week
-
Cant say I've had that problem before
-
I can't believe there is no mention on defending the wild-cat and Brad Smith. Those fans are going to be in for a shock when they see just how much this element will be apart of our offense this year especially on short yardage situations where we need a first down. Brad Smith moves chains and is always a threat to break one for 6 as well. I think the Jets offense will miss him dearly this year.
They will. I had a friend of mine whos a jets fan call me when we signed him and said we took thier best weapon. I was happy to hear that
-
Not too much worse than our knowledge of KC, I'm sure.
Edit: A Fitzgerald mention!
To be fair, I think this game could go either way. The chiefs have one of the best running games in the NFL and last year we struggled to stop the run. based on our moves we should be better at stopping the run and in the third preseason game we looked like we were capable, but it was preseason.
I think the offense gets better with expierence but they have a few guys that can make plays for them. Eric berry is VERY good
Honestly i think this game comes down to who has the better QB play. Call me a homer but Fitz looked great in preseason and Cassel struggled, I say Bills win a close one 17-10
-
The Bills at 10-6???? Please let me know what scouting reports and news you are looking at.........from what I have seen the team would be lucky to get even half-way to ten wins.
I have been saying 10-6 since draft day
And you thought your ex was a crazy b*tch
