  1. The 4th TD was to Jones

But yes, people questioned whether Fitz would be able to lead us, be accurate and make plays. He showed he was very prepared and more than ready to lead. What I liked most is the team just looked confident. Similar to the pats, We are going to score, try to stop us. Then after they scored, they scored again and again and again. In the 3rd quarter you could see everyone in KC, fans, players, coaches just wanted to see this one end.

The covered Stevie so he went to Chandler, They covered Chandler so he went to Nelson/Jones. A bunch of no names beat a playoff team, with ease. And Fitz was the driver behind it and he made everyone around him better by giving them a chance to make plays

  2. Obviously there were a lot of great things in this game to be excited about. But to answer your question, the one thing that's the most encouraging to me is this: We now have a coach that understands the importance of stepping on a team's neck when they're down. Gailey's play calling today was superb and relentless. The play I liked best? Brad Smith's INT. That's right. Even though we already had the game won, Gailey called a play that gave him the option to go for the humiliation shot.

Does anyone think Jauron would have done that? Jauron is a really, really nice guy. If he had gotten up two or three scores he would have been on the sidelines preparing an apology. The best a Jauron team could do was keep it close and hope for the best. That was clearly his strategy, because after every game, usually a loss, he'd tell us "it's hard to win in this league."

    Those days are over.

  3. Right, but again- one game against a suspect team. You expect a good team to win. The bills won. It means we might be a good team, not that we are. I also didn't walk out of today thinking the steelers are cellar dwellers or redskins are on a big run. The 49ers thumped a division winner too.

It's about doing it every week, not once.

All that said.... Definitely on the right road. Even if we have a let down next week, I think this franchise is going the right way.

Ok Ill give you that. There is no denying this team is much improved. If we beat Oakland and NE watch out NFL

  4. Ok, so I'm kind of thrilled at our results today. But I always like to temper what I've seen with reason.

    Things I liked least:

Thigpen...well, he wasn't exactly given starters but if Fitz goes down I'll be worried.

Brad Smith's INT. Yeah, he isn't there to be a passer, but if we don't at least threaten a throw our Wildcat will be quickly countered.

    Things I Liked:

Our Wildcat EVERY OTHER TIME. It completes short third downs, which means extended drives, which means second chances for TD's and keeping our guys off the field.

Chandler-the man was a breakout. Even the threat of a game like today is going to force teams to tear up their current coverage assignments.

Fitz-what can you say? 68% completion rate, over 200 yards, Four TD's, 0 INTERCEPTIONS. It's pretty hard to knock that.

    Thing I love the most:

This week, the Bills currently have the biggest point differential.

Thats called forward thinking. Teams now have tape on Brad Smith throwing deep. They have to respect it and game plan for it

  5. I like being an underdog. Keep it coming experts. We put 41 points on a playoff team, whose Defense is run by one of your darlings Romeo Crennel.

They couldnt stop Ryan Fitzpatrick, the 7th round pick from Harvard who we should have upgraded, They couldnt slow down the D-III product Fred jackson. We had some guy named Chandler, who no one outside of Buffalo is aware of, score 2 TDs and go uncovered much of the game

We ran over this team and didn't let them breathe. We made that offensive genius look like an idiot all day. We held the top rushing team, that shredded us last year to 100 yards rushing.

We emptied the loudest stadium in the league at halftime. Keep it coming experts. Say this was a chiefs meltdown. WMD dares you to. Fitzbeardy dares you to.

    See you at the opener
