I understand this completely. The problem is, we never win any of these battles. Ever. And, you could always use guys on the D-line. Always. Especially when you can't get to the QB OR it's proven that you can't stop the run. I hope I'm premature in my criticism, but if we end up with Smith, and nobody else decent at LB AND O-line, then this is flat out stupid.

Ahh, yes, the Almighty Repsaj has arrived. Not only will he make the 53 man roster, he'll make up most of the 53 man roster.

Why in the hell is this guy needed? Seriously? He's a toy, and toy's are usually effective on teams that are already good. Why, seriously?
This, to me, reeks of needing to try and sell tickets to make us think we are getting a playmaker that is way overhyped. I don't get it.
Sorry, I just don't get this organization. I'd rather have a top notch lineman than Spiller AND Smith. But hey, what do I know......I have the same amount of playoff wins in my armchair position as this organization has in it's last 11 years.
Relax, Clabo is still available as is Kevin Burnett, Tulloch, Nick Barnett, Brady Popinga, cullen jenkins ect
This team added a good player that has made alot of teams pay with his big play potential. With an offensive genius like Gailey I'm really excited to see what he can do

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa - I've never been one to beat that drum, Captain. My cheap comment comes from the fact that we have many speed guys, and it's not perceived as a huge "need."
EDIT: Regardless, it's good to see the Bills thinking outside the box, showing some life in FA.

Whats Funny is I just watched a Video with La canfora and he has Edwards and Bulger as his top two FA Qbs available right now. Thats some slim pickings

Don't know much about him but sounds like he had a pretty solid year last year......94 tackles, sacks, 2 FF, 2 ints and a TD. I think this could be a solid pick up.

i really do not think one single FA player made a particular team a super bowl contender. it is obviously a process, but the steelers picking up farrior, saints picking up sharper, indy grabbing vinateri were all vital contributors to their respective teams.
Ill give you one Drew Brees. If only he was available...

I agree with you 100 %, unusual on this board.
It seems like the Bills did draft a LB to possibly replace Poz as they may not be able to sign him (+ 1 good),
however now have done little else or nothing to improve the weakest unit on the team.
How are they getting any better?
Wait til Friday. It hasnt even been 2 days. No team has made any huge signings yet.
