Johnson’s OC contract was reportedly adjusted upward after the 2022 season and it is believed that he’s been paid between $3.5 and $4 million a year since then. Brady is probably making $1.5 million or less per year. That would give him a very different perspective than Johnson, who would probably be in position to get another raise if he decides to stay in Detroit.

There is no guarantee Brady will win 3 Super Bowls if he stays in Buffalo. And going to the "dumpster fire franchise" as HC would garner the proverbial "generational wealth". Not many people would turn that down. And of course there's also the possibility that Brady believes in himself and thinks he can succeed where Robert Saleh and Adam Gase failed.

Brady has had an up and down career and has yet to make big money. He was never a head coach in college, and his first OC job (co-OC, actually) ended badly and quickly. He came to Buffalo as the quarterback coach, I think. It would be silly for him to turn down a four-year $20 million contract from anyone, including the Jets. I’m not sure what Brady makes currently, but it’s definitely not in that neighborhood. If anything were to happen to Josh Allen, his chance of becoming an NFL head coach would be nonexistent.

I don’t understand why teams throw three passes in a row from the 3-yard line, especially if they intend to go for it on 4th down. Just dumb.

Bucs are a pretty good team. They had a bad streak in the middle of the season when all their receivers were hurt, but they beat the Lions and Eagles. They could easily win a couple playoff games.

Glad we don’t have to count on the Dolphins to win…
