  1. Yeah, no question the haul would have been lighter, and they might have had to wait until draft day to finalize the trade, but the Bears still would have come out of it very nicely.
  2. True, but I assume the Texans would have kept the first pick and taken a QB, and the Bears still could have gotten a nice haul for the second overall pick.
  3. What did the Texans give the Bears? Yep, it's a huge haul, but you have to assume there were other teams bidding for the pick, probably Indy, Washington, and maybe others. This was just what the market dictated. If Fields can take a step forward, which I think he definitely can, the Bears have set themselves up very nicely.
  4. Disagree. I think it’s a really nice haul in a year where there’s no great QB prospects. Excellent move for Chicago.
  5. Wow, great trade for the Bears. Exactly what they needed. IMO, none of these QBs is worth that much, but Carolina had to do something like this.
  6. They have no picks, so that would be tough
  7. Cody Ford?
  8. This is great news for other AFC teams…like the Jets hiring Adam Gase after he flamed out in Miami. Another team we can cross off the list of potential rivals…
  9. The Raiders can’t afford either of those contracts. That’s why they cut Carr.
  10. So who are the Raiders going to roll with at QB?
  11. Unfortunately, it’s an area that has been neglected in the draft for a while now…hard to turn it around in one offseason, but KC managed to do it.
  12. No doubt the OL needs help and we have to fortify that area in the draft, but it’s important to remember that O-line is a very hard position to play in the NFL and not too many rookies offensive linemen make a big impact, especially at tackle. If you’re trying to get the Bills over the top in 2023, a first round WR is likely to have a greater impact, IMO.
  13. And as far as I can tell, very little discussion of it here, on the internet’s premier Buffalo Bills discussion forum😄😄
  14. “Moving past it” is not consistent with doing national interviews, but you knew that already. I don’t have the answer, but I find the whole thing completely bizarre.
  15. So no answers to the actual question I posed?
  16. Any thoughts on why Damar agrees to an interview with Michael Strahan and then in that interview refuses to answer any questions about the incident or what actually happened to him? The whole thing is very strange. It’s as if they’re trying to feed the conspiracy theorists…
  17. No, it was not a hold.
  18. I'll never understand this...I'm convinced that someone from the league got to Bradberry and told him to fall on his sword. No DB in his right mind would ever admit that that was a hold.
  19. Look, what everyone hates about last night’s call is that the game was set up perfectly for an all-time great finish and it ended up being a total dud because of that stupid call. We can argue about whether it was a penalty or not (it was a bad call, but there have been worse), but the timing was absolutely inexcusable. No one—not even KC fans, I bet—wanted to see the game end like that.
  20. You are correct, but I fear that OBD will be the last place in the universe that sees the light...
  21. It also means creating an offensive system where slow-developing drop-back passes aren’t the bread and butter of your offense. It’s just asking for trouble. The Chiefs, Eagles and Niners seem to run an awful lot of plays where receivers are wide open within 7-8 yards of the line of scrimmage, giving the QB a lot of easy, quick-developing options.
  22. Absolute disgrace for the NFL
  23. Way to ruin a classic game with an absolute phantom call. F the NFL…
  24. What a joke
