  1. We know we’re watching a delayed position development in Allen. Each year, we’ve seen dramatic improvement from some poor decisions and method throws from the previous season. But we’ve also seen an inevitable return to Mad Josh as the season wear on. This happens to most QBs that entered the League unpolished. The good ones eventually get it right in the face of big pressure and dealing with lingering injuries. He’s shown so much improvement from his rookie season. It confirms for me we haven’t seen his best yet.
  2. 🤦‍♂️
  3. HB, NG! Enjoy Your Day!
  4. Great topic, OP, and excellent contributions. The athletes in all sports are bigger, better & faster than days of yore. They are committed to year long conditioning programs and the $$ they earn is worth the commitment. As for the NFL specifically, today’s QBs are markedly better year in & year out than at any time previously. The coaching and game plans -even at the high school level, are where pro coaching once was. There’s no more single-wing or college specific offenses. Every level is playing ‘pro football’.
  5. I agree. Ergo,..
  6. Yes! Legendary names like Johnny Green, JP Losman, EJ Manuel account for the 85%. Jimbo was a 1st Rounder, but he was our 2nd #1 that year. As for Allen’s 1st Round class, Mayfield & Darnold went before him, with Wrong Josh & Lamar. Jackson has been terrific but odd. We nabbed the best in that crap shoot.
  7. Kay saying ‘Small guys get it done’.
  8. Ok, but many of us armchair Coaches have opined since early last season that our run game improves dramatically with Mongo at Center. Morse is very adept, but Feliciano is an animal. Poise & precision or Punch ‘em in the mouth?🤷‍♂️
  9. Ok, I’m kaboshing this thread. Already have posts removed, multiple warnings issued and the OP predictably dropped by, dropped a turd and ran.
  10. Lots-O-Bills goin’ to the Pro Bowl! (at least off my ballot..)
  11. Thanks @Buftex. I was hoping it would be. DVR is set.
  12. Thanks. Now I’m not gonna sleep tonight. my opinion, we and the rest of the League have seen the best of Sam Darnold. While he was clearly the most ‘pro ready’ at draft time, he’s hasn’t improved at anything. His ceiling was at USC and he’s been found out and floundering ever since. Flacco is better. Again, my opinion.
  13. Wake you feeling refreshed? Well, yes, but I was at work.. 😴
  14. Yeah, this thread aged well..
  15. High Football IQ. No poster is more deserving. Oh.😳 You meant.. nevermind.
  16. So, the screen name, oxymoron, right? I could cherry pick a few plays as well to show evidence he continues to improve with this type of throw. This year, I’ve seen absolutely perfect precise short, behind the LOS passes he’s thrown that landed like a baby in the hands of RBs & WRs running full speed. Definitely takes a ‘touch’ and as a rocket armed passer, that’s saying something. Please don’t feed the trolls.
  17. 37-21 Cardinals. I don’t believe in us this game. Huge attention on us, a Bye week at games end, a game we can ‘afford’ to lose. We have a verifiable history under these criteria.
  18. As much as the Bills can afford -and it will likely include some RobertKraftesque ‘team’ shenanigans (partial ownership/personal services contract/creative nefarious contract add ons).
