#99 is a beast!

Look at all the top notch rookie WR's selected in the draft over the years. I don't see a whole lot of NFL studs with them. You can say the same about any position, I guess. Selecting Floyd with the 10th pick seems risky to me. http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/positions/wr

We will have to wait and see what players falls in the draft this year. Hard to predict without a crystal ball to see what team wants to trade up right now.

You're probably correct on Buddy's comment. Draft is just around the corner, can't wait!

The more I think about it the more it seems to make sense. Unless Buffalo is in love with certain player at the 10th spot I can see Buffalo trading down and acquiring more picks in this years draft. Selecting a Cordy Glenn in the middle of round one or a Courtney Upshaw, Zach Brown, Peter Konz, Mike Adams, Devon Still, etc etc. Buddy Nix made this statement "We have 9 picks in this years draft but would like 10". If Buffalo finds a dancing partner at 10 I really believe we trade down and gain some more picks. Buffalo needs depth at many positions. Every year we get "awed" from the top 15 names in the draft but it's usually the 2nd round and back where the players really make the most impact in the NFL. Can't stand the wait until the draft!

I agree with your running back assessments. IMHO, CJ Spiller has way more upside than Freddy. Freddy is not getting any younger and CJ's best football is coming up. Anyway you look at it, our team has two pretty good RB's.

Interesting. Mario is not that big WR that Buddy was hoping for though. We shall see.

DE Mario Williams reportedly remains in Buffalo and will visit with Bills officials for a 3rd day tomorrow. It had been thought originally that Williams, arguably the top free agent on the market this year, had left Buffalo late Monday evening, but he was still there today where he underwent a team physical and reportedly looked at potential homes with his fiance.

It would'nt surprise me if the Rams traded down another few spots and picked their LT or WR and gain even more picks.

I live in a factual football world. I'm one of the BIGGEST Bills fans on this board. I agree with the statement that Ralph is cheap when it comes to hiring a coach and GM. That is why we have avoided any big names over the course of trying to make the playoffs once again. We have been spinning our wheels for how many years now? Do I like the job Chan and Buddy have done so far, YES I'm on board with them and fully support them as a fan. I can't help wonder though if we don't makes steps forward this coming season or the following year how long it will be before 90% of the Bills fan base will want this coaching staff and Buddy thrown out of Buffalo? Do you see the pattern here? When Chan's era is over who will Ralph hire next? My guess it probably won't be Bill Parcells or Bill Cowher. I agreed with the post on Ralph does short change the fans when it comes to building a winning team with his choices on the GM and head coach. Does that make me any less of a Bills fan? I would LOVE to see Buffalo make a decent splash in free agency this year and fix our defense. This off season will tell us a lot about how serious they really are about making the playoffs once again in Buffalo. Rebuilding through the draft is fine but you have to get some talent in here with free agents if your serious about a winning football team. P.S. I've been a diehard Buffalo Bills fan since 1988. I haven't missed a game. I either watch them on TV or travel to the game to watch the love of my life. I've giving up family time, motorcycle rides, great weather, friends, gym time , because of my love/addiction for the Bills on Sundays! Yea, go ahead and tell me I don't really like the Bills , you don't even know me. Promo, how can you even argue his point? If the Bills have another 6-10 season who's next for a GM and head coach? We know for sure it won't be any of the guys asking for a little more money and who have been winners in the past, right? Here's hoping that Chan and Buddy take this team to the playoffs next year!

If you think the Bills will sign a blockbuster free agent like VJ or Mario Williams your having a wet dream. Buffalo will get bargain players on the cheap to fill the voids. Maybe even another Shawn Merriman to ride the bench. It is what it is.

Ravens to release Lee Evans, Domonique Foxworth. According to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, in addition to cutting Chris Carr, the Ravens also plan to cut WR Lee Evans and CB Domonique Foxworth.
