I agree ! we have a lot of talent at the skill positions but not at the Line positions. Upgrade there and we have a good team again.

There ae two big problems. 1) TD has to go because of drafting failures. 2) MM can stay, but we need a real OC that can playcall a game with and make adjustments on the fly. 3)Draft and get FA to repair both OLine and DLine and we will be going to the playoffs again.

Excatly ! MM cant do those adjustments. Since he took over for TC. We need a new OC that can do the job on game day and adjust to the defense on the fly.

And why they are so successful. MM scripts these from the comfort of his office when he can think about each play and possible success of them. They have been very successful this year. The opening drives are usually impressive. After the script runs out and he has to play call on the fly he cannot do it. He always gets overwhelmed and makes bad play calls. I think that TD needs to go because he is not adequately stocking the shelves. Gray and TC have to go. Gray because he cannot do anything except blitz. He cannot adjust or adapt. I think MM should stay actually. The players come prepared to play. It's his play calling that sucks. We need a new OC that can call plays live and make adjustments on the fly. So lets get a brilliant OC to game plan and play call ! Who ever that may be. MM can stay !

Personally I trust RW to make the correct call. It's his team and he has been doing this for what ? 40 years ? RW knows football operations and will adjust the staff as needed. I would expect TD to be fired, after that it is anybodies guess.

But does he interview well ? And does he have organized lists of notes?

I think we need a tweaker. We have a lot of good players. Just the OL and DL need to be improved before any other changes are made.

Out of this group mentioned, I think Kubiak is the best fit for us. I wont mention the reasons why because others have already said them so well !

LA doesn't want an NFL team and can't agree on where to put it even if someone would pay for the new stadium. The tax payers won't pay for a new stadium in LA. That is why no team is there now and probably won't be for a long time.

He was scouting for the San Diego Chargers as recently as October 2004. I dont see his name on the Chargers website as being on staff. So maybe he retired this year ?

As someone suggested. Other NFL owners would be a logical place to vent and get some advice. He has fired and fired alot of GM's over the years. He knows his stuff pretty well all by himself.

Okay ! But do remember Art Shell coaching the Raiders ? I thought he was pretty dman good. A few playoff appearances if I remember correctly.
