Set up the distances of beacon signal to cutoff plane engine at a safe distance. Including whats below it. No idea is perfect but would prevent planes from crashing into target buildings.

I think small aircraft should be equiped with a wireless device that shuts off the motor automatically when the proper signal is recieved. Then put a beacon on buildings to be protected that transmit a mile or so. Then when a plane approaches the unsafe distance the plane shuts off and crashes. Problem solved. Next problem for me to solve please.

They thought the kid was selling drugs, from what they could see with the web cam. But what if the laptop was positioned where they can see the kid changing his clothes or taking a shower? That is so wrong. The pervert principal was probably hoping for just that incident. Anyone with a bit of sense could see the potential abuse of this software. I think the principal should be fired for such a lapse of judgement.

Dean I think you can appreciate the talent this guy has. I found a homemade CD in a parking lot in San Diego. It completely blew me away. The electric acoustic guitar skills this guy has are god given. He is such a troubadour that he probably wont get commercial success. But he should have it. If you ever get the chance to see him on his rare american visits go and see him. He shows up in San Fran every so often. This is so creepy and wrong. The number of ways this invades privacy and opens them up to abuse is beyond words. Lawyers will make mince meat out of the school. I can't believe a school district gave the OK for this badly concieved plan.

Awesome memories, my wife grew up in San Diego and in the 70's and back then Del Mar was like driving to the boonies. Now the Interstate 5 corridor is completely developed. I have a sense of what your memories are like, I own a ranch beside a 4500 acre ag. preserve in San Pasqual Valley, lots of open space and very serene.

Do both, you can ski in the local mountains of So Cal. I've seen cars from time to time parked at the beach with snow on the roof. Meaning they skiied in the morning and drove to the beach in the afternoon.

Free agency has blown up this long term model. Just when a guy gets good after 2 or 3 years of development he becomes a free agent and you have to decide to break the bank or not and then it limits other players. New England mastered the FA game and succeeded because of that. We have to think in terms of shorter windows, mixing in rookies with FA's. If they cap rookie salaries in the new CBA then that again will change the logic used. Probably for the better IMHO.
