Play with a heavy set with EJ under center and run the ball with Freddie and CJ. If we play the spread out offense, we play into the Jets strengths, keep them guessing and we might have a pray in this game.

I thought there were lots of trips formation against the Steelers that didn't make sense but we kept calling them with a very low degree of success. I don't know what they were expecting to exploit on their defense, but they didn't work.

EJ having zero feel in the game, he's stepping up on a clean pocket and he can't deliver the ball past 3 yards? I understand not trying to force things but at one time you need to trust your reads and arm.

I'm excited that he's back. Hopefully the time off, watching Thad and Tuel help him realize that his talent can overcome a lot of things but fundamentals are key if he wants to be an effective NFL QB.

I pointed out a mistake you made and you get up in arms, you shouldn't take things so seriously, you'll pop a vein and that life that you apparently already have secure will go away in a hurry. One thing is pre-draft considerations and another thing is playing in the NFL. You can deny it, but the fact is, pundits deemed A.W. a first round talent, you say otherwise and maybe you're right but unfortunately you're the last cog of the NFL business. In the internet written word (again by pundits) A.W. could have been selected in the first round and it would have been accepted. I can and will do whatever the !@#$ I want regarding Bills player selections, one thing I will not do, get on my high horse and start undermining other people's opinions because they don't share mine.

Except the little fact that Gronk was taken a year earlier. The Williams pick was much maligned by a vast majority in Bills nation for his play as CB and moreso because Buddy deemed him a first round talent. He was ridiculed by a lot of people in this MB Sometimes players need time to get better, obviously better coaching helps.

He was on the field for three plays (from the 7' mark in the first QTR) and he had an impact in each and every one of them. He tackled Charles at the LOS for a gain of a yard, he shed Albert's block. He then pushed the LG into Smith but the QB completed the pass for a 1st down on a quick pass and in the last one he had a tackle for loss, again against he LG. Auspicious start for Charles, no doubt about it, we will see if he keeps momentum going.

Ponder never stays in the pocket, he can't stay put and deliver the ball, he reminds me of Jake Plummer.
