Great game by Iran, sometimes soccer is unfair. Argentina moved the ball well at first but the player didn't, they didn't seek variables to break the great Iran defense. Time was against us, we tried to rush things and got lost with our own nerves. Romero and Messi won this game, that we shouldn't have won.

He was pummeled by the Jets DL in that game but he came back to tie the game with a 2 pt conversion (20-20), right after that drive Geno burns Rogers for a long TD to Holmes. Far from being an abominable performance by a rookie in his 3rd game.

He was far from abominable against the Jets. more so if you take into account that he was without Woods and Johnson for that game, yes the defense dominated their offense but he scored 2 TDs against a tough defense. He was awful against TB and their cover 2 (coaches will take notice going into next season) and he was average against Pittsburgh, IMO. The problem with that game was that our rookie OC was out-coached by a HOF DC.

Great finals the Spurs are a great team, they dominated at times.

Scratch the last part of my original post but as sodbuster said we could have kept the clock ticking and maybe with a score we win that game. I thought there was less time in the clock when Stevie dropped that ball.

That Stevie drop was huge, in that frame you can see Marrone grabbing his head with both hands after it. Had we kept the ball moving and scored a FG we would have won that game.
