  1. All the hate I have for him is because he quit on his coaches, players and fans.
  2. He's still the GM and brought Pioli with him after he was fired by the Chiefs. Watch him trying to spark the N.E. Patriots magic by hiring McDaniels.
  3. I was in Marrone's corner but I hope he's reading this board with his head on fire.
  4. Maybe the tampering clues he left behind are too easy to spot to anybody with two brain cells.
  5. I wanted to keep him but fug him, he quit on his fellow coaches, players and fans. No chance he comes back.
  6. wait a minute, enthusiastic and aggressive I can buy, if he were some kind of a genius it would have manifested along the way these two years.
  7. The question is will Hackett go with him knowing that he will probably be just his puppet? Not that this question will keep me from sleeping at night.
  8. That is a tough sell, it's a good question but I sense they're selling the HC job as a package with Schwartz in. If the guy going in is smart he'll take it, even if he is a defensive minded coach.
  9. You're right, knee jerk reaction on my part when I watched the Ravens not being able to run against the Texans.
  10. No need to cut him until their replacements are better than him. As much as he was hated when we picked him up, he leaved a big hole when he went down.
  11. He sported a 42 - 22 with Jake Plummer as his QB. Won 9 games with rookie QB Cutler. With Griffin went to the play offs in his first year in a dysfunctional franchise. Griffin's career was derailed when he was more worried about Subway's commercials, his RGIII logo rights and his comeback countdown after he blew his knee. I'm not enamored with Shanahan, I think he doesn't have the energy anymore to be HC and should retire but to say the guy didn't do anything without a HOF QB is false to me.
  12. since last night quote box working on both themes TBD 3.4.7. and Work friendly skin.
  13. 1) Must accept Schwartz as his DC. He needs to understand that one part of the team is fixed and ready to go. 2) HC with offensive background that can adapt his "system" to the talent at hand. 3) Offensive minded coach that can sit on a defensive meeting and understand what they are doing 4) A coach that respects his players but is not friends with them. Tough love 5) Can talk with the GM, president and owner and doesn't need a third party to vent frustrations. In essence not a kitty snitch. I don't care much for the innovative and aggressive nature of the coach, I want a smart one that can adapt on the fly to what the situation is calling him to do.
  14. Mouse McNally sighting.
  15. Guys don't forget Stephan Charles MarQueis Gray Thigpen Honorable mention Baccari Rambo, showed promise in his first game, jury is still out.
  16. If I'm calling the shots I want an offensive minded coach but with the idea that he has to accept working with Schwartz as his DC. If he's smart he'll take this condition. I don't want McDaniel, Gase or Reich. I would be ok with Bevell, Hamilton, Shanahan or Kubiak (who is not on the list)
  17. Melvin KOed I really can't stand the Steelers. Tomlin, Haley and Roethlisberger, what's there to like? 12 men on the field for the Ravens, I hope people are watching, no HC is perfect.
  18. So, he makes an ass of himself and that will motivate him to bait Sammy and annoy him to death? He should just apologize for being such a douche.
  19. One thing is to want power, another thing is to earn it. Marrone thought he could bully Pegula into getting more of it.
  20. Logan Thomas can't be this bad.
