    My first job at 16 was working for a grocery store and they didn't have "corrals' back then. You could spend a lot of time out in that parking lot fetching carts and like @Just Jack said we didn't have any motorized crap to push them in. Also like Jack said it was bonus not to be inside dealing with people.

    As I understand it downtown was going to cost more and take up to two years more to go through the process of buying properties paying for them and then knocking them down. A lid on the place was another Billion. So you finally have a new stadium two years latter that somebody has to pay 2b for. Think prices are high now, watch think double.
