  1. I guess I was thinking real d-1 like the BIG or ACC where you could get 70,000 peeps to come to a game.
  2. Sure has been a while since we had one of these new stadium threads...lol. 1) IMHO if they ever build a new stadium it isn't going to matter where they build it, there is no way a Super Bowl is ever coming! The big corporate bucks want to be someplace so they can blow a lot of money on their clients and live the life of luxury and WNY is not what they are looking for. 2) most likely a new stadium will come with PSL's, let me know how many Bills fans are going to pony up $10,000 for the privilege to buy tickets.3) Who gives a **** about the view? If the team sucks nobody is going to say "well at least we got to see the lake"! 4) PTR's UB idea is intriguing, maybe The Bulls would then go div1 with football and that would get SUNY bucks along with other state funding in the mix. Mike in Horseheads PS- if you want a central location Horseheads would be perfect! Easy access of I-86, lots of farmland to build it on, 2 hours from Syracuse and Rochester, 3 hours from Buffalo and Albany!
  3. Well... I give Whaley credit. He went after a backup plan. On the other hand the Browns just looked at the roster today and said... "aren't we missing something? WTF we don't have a kicker!
  4. Seriously??? Your complaining about the PUNTER??? That is a bit down the list of things to fix don't ya think? Whats next bring back Ryan Lindell?
  5. Here's a ole favorite whipping boy and available for QB...lol ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 9m Trent Edwards, Edwin Williams among Bears cuts http://wp.me/p14QSB-9fYb
  6. I'm sure the league has liability insurance so this isn't coming out of their wallets. So it pry cost them their deductible and a big increase in insurance premiums and guess what? That will most likely be a cost of doing business so it will count against the cap and lower that. Voila! They lose little.
  7. "Take the team to the Seneca Niagara Casino to get some free booze and free smoke to toughen up the lungs and ears maybe a few "tips" from the blackjack dealer a old friend. Head over to Canada and let the team "sleep it off" on the 5 hour wait to check out who these guys on the bus are at customs. After only losing a few players head to The Canadian Ballet in Ft Erie to get some culture. After some good exercise at the side shows and lots more smoke and drinks head for the Peace Bridge to "sleep it off" waiting for customs. after a few more who can't cross the border (Arron Hernandez said no problem) settle down in the Hotel. Go get them team! We'll meet at the bus at 11am Sunday" Yup... wishful thinking but the hoodie is arrogant...Go Bills!
  8. I just saw that commercial! Not sure if we're happier than a Geico customer saving 15% though!
  9. IF and I say IF (not sure Doug M isn't playing word games like others have said with "planning") Tuel is the QB then I guess they try and keep it simple and give CJ and Fast Freddy a lot of touches. You would hope that the defense would have to step it up but with Gilmore having surgery and Byrd sulking I'm not sure if it matters who starts at QB. To me Gilmore being out 8 weeks is the bigger news of the day than the Tuel news.
  10. Damn the Bears for scooping up Trent Edwards when we need him! lol.....
  11. Lets all agree on one thing, when ESPN starts losing programing to FOX1 or NBCSN our cable or DirecTV bills won't be reduced but most likely will go UP! Because then the argument will be they have to pay them more money, never mind that ESPN "should" go down then. As for talent sharing it will be interesting if FOX and NBC play ESPN's game with radio shows. I listen to the "Dan Patrick Show" faithfully (I know some here don't like him either) and ESPN will seldom let anyone from the mother ship come on. I would bet it's the same with Jim Rome or Doug Gottlieb shows on CBS Sports radio. They may get pushed into a corner if say Peter King can't be on there shows? Just a thought.
  12. I think one of the sad things over Lindell and Morrmans time is that our kicking game was the MVP's of the team! Ya don't make the playoffs when that is true!!!
  13. ...And that really expands down here to the Southern Tier. it's less than a 3 hour drive and I believe That Corning Inc is a suite owner.
  14. But if things hold form we will now here from some of our fellow peeps that they knew he was trouble... but Dumbo Buddy would have taken him anyway!
  15. He can proclaim his innocence but ESPN trailer said the Bronco's knew in 2011 "there was a issue". Maybe the Bills dodged a bullet with him.
  16. Hey... So here's what i got from DTV.... The Genie, a Mini Genie, Free NFL > Sunday Ticket with redzone, free HBO, Showtime, Skinimax, and sports pack > for two months and $15 a month off my bill for a year. The person told me > to call in a month and I should be able to get the Genie to go for > nothing. I did try to get the MLB package for the rest of the year but > best she would do was $75. Can't win them all!
  17. How much are those additional fees did they say? I really wanted to get the Genie when I call for my annual.
  18. Did you get the Genie out of the deal? I'm not on contract and I feel like I have a lot of chips to play at the DTV Casino. Best part of DTV is you can get deals just by going after them!
  19. Looks like the Rams move to the front of the line again to move to timbuckto or LA. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/07/05/rams-wont-get-700-million-in-public-money-for-stadium-renovations/ ...Meanwhile the Jags are going to show the redzone at games to try and uncover the tarps before they move to London lol. ...I guess this should put the Bills out in relocation talks with their new lease at least for a few years. Maybe the Dolphins looking for a government hand out will move to Havana....
  20. ...Sure does.... Major Nelson is like so many Bills coaches and front office, didn't have a clue...
