They're just feeling the need to provide some balance from basketball/bourbon/horses -
His name didn't help him much. Had his last name been Smith or Jones or Taylor he would have had 2% or less last night. He's a vanilla candidate.

He built a very nice building in Chicago, ground up and from what I know a successful venture for him. Lots of liberals live in it, work in it and hang out in it. The only complaint is the large TRUMP letters across the front of it.

It would be hard to declare Trump a failure in Real Estate. That's a tough business often with more downside risk than upside. His projects and investments haven't all been winners bit he's had more winners. If it were so easy, more would do it.

Bernie's hangin' tough. Doggin' Hillary. -
So if fewer immigrants would cause the cost of food to rise because that industry had to utilize more expensive American labor subject to American employment rules and regulations, would that be good or bad for this country?

I think Hillary will prevail by a small margin and the Sanders camp will believe there was tampering. -
Every politician is elected by people many of which are poorly informed. That is the basis of the problem. Mushrooms vote. Fungus kept in the dark with **** thrown on it from time to time.

There is an ideal number of immigrants that we should take in. That number should be adjusted yearly or so based at least in part by economic factors and we should strive to have all such immigrants come here legally. Illegal immigrants have broken the law and should not be rewarded for this in the form of citizenship or a job. The argument that they do the work that Americans won't do is very flimsy. Americans will do the vast majority of the work if the wages for the job appeal to them. Right now we can't employ many Americans that want to work so we should be in a time of low immigration.

The Pro Bowl is now dumb. It should be deep-sixed. Replace it with an annual awards show. More people will watch and with speakers, highlights, awards and a good MC it will good entertainment.

So your mind is made up and you don't want to be confused by the facts. The numbers I provided are not from a lab experiment, they are the employment and population numbers for our country. Now if you consider that a lab experiment, what real world are you talking about?

If adding a person to our population increased jobs by 1 or more than 1 job, then your argument might have some merit. However, the working population in this country is about 60% so if you add more people you don't get 1 job for 1 added person, you get about .6. That leaves 4/10's of a person to be supported by someone employed or through government benefits. That and if you add population too quickly, you will drive down the employment to population ratio which by the way is at the lowest rate in about 30 years. So, the radical right wing racist republican oh my god WTF if Trump gets elected stance has real merit. Reducing immigration (legal and illegal) should boost the employment rate among Americans which in turn should increase wages and reduce the cost of entitlements. http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS12300000

HP and Dell recently still make PCs with PS2 style keyboard and mouse ports specifically so that USB ports can be disabled and a kbd and mouse still easily utilized. We have seen here PC's come in at the end of a lease that have glue (bad ass glue) injected into the USB ports rendering them useless in addition to them being disabled in the BIOS.

The American electorate ultimately is 100% to blame. We are such a poorly informed bunch of idiots (overall as a country) and if more were informed we wouldn't have such a great political divide in this country. There should be outrage on the part of the people over the really big issues we face and that outrage should be directed squarely and loudly at those in Washington and state and local governments. Until we the people get our **** together, we will have mostly mediocrity and deceit among our elected officials because that's who we elect and even worse, re-elect. .

Feinstein is an idiot. Clinton made a conscious decision to move her email off of a government server to a private one knowing that it would be less secure. She did that knowing that if there was a breach of whatever security was in place, then she risked exposing sensitive info to spies and put herself in a criminal position. She also gave that email address to all who she worked with and all she had communication with. Then after she was no longer SOS, she exported the email, erased whatever portions of it she wanted to and claimed it was all for convenience. Who on Earth is buying that excuse and even if you do, how can this be considered an acceptable decision on her part?

Like Obama, Sanders has an agenda. It's not to tackle debt, grow the economy, resolve our borders and immigration issues or protect Americans. It's mostly to create new and expand existing entitlements . Elect him and we get 4-8 more years of Obama-like performance. He'll ignore the big existing problems that the Fed gov owns and be another one-trick pony.

Agree but the court of public opinion might still do her in.

Interesting, thanks for posting. So the money ends up staying in a political pool somewhere or goes to charity. Except of course for some personal campaign related expenses. Yes, it should be a unifying issue like term limits. In Illinois a movement last election to get term limits on the state ballot got more than enough required signatures but of course one party (guess which) filed a lawsuit and on some obscure loophole and a through a wacky judge it never made it onto the ballot.

There is so much material to work with in the general election campaign. Really she should go down in one of the most epic political collapses in the history of US politics if she gets the nomination. Hell even Bernie could bury her if he put his mind and campaign to it.

The Dems could draw a parallel between Obamacare and the great recovery. Maybe Obamacare is just running out of steam so only universal health care can save the economy. That and another stimulus and some tax increases.
