Hey the bills owner is much more fan friendly but the bills are expected to lose money this season. Maybe if Ralph adopted some of Snyders tacticts the bills would be able to be profitable even in WNY.

Agreed. We have nobody to replace him and he may be overated but he is still an above average number one cb. We need to hold on to any above average players we have on the defensive side of the ball.

Picking up a QB in the first round would be foolish sice we have a first round QB already. He still is said to have all the potential and just needs to develop. How is that different than if we picked up another unproven promising QB?

I would like to see the bills get a bigger one just to spite the fins despite not have the money to afford it. Tax Dollars at Work!

I am satisfied with our moves in WR this ofseason. With the 5 number 2 recievers we should hope for one to develop into a number one before too long. We needed PP after letting moulds go and Davis i think could be very good for us. We now have one area more or less covered. Our QB situation is being handled as we now have 3 backup QBs. Again we are hoping for one to develop into a number one before too long. We signed another backup player in Matt Bowen. We still dont have the Satey position covered and we need at least a decent starter in there since the guys we have are escentially backups. The Line remains awful but is being adressed and following draft day we should at least have a few decent to great lineman that will help with that problem. After all the moves, the bills are looking like they could be the sleeper team who suprises everybody despite lacking the big names. Then again we could be the team who puts together a mediocre record because of the lack of big time players. We'll see.

What the heck? Some sources say he is fast other say he is not quick then some say hey moves well in space and others say he does not play overly well in space. I dont know who to believe! come on, somebody actually know this guy and isnt just saying what they read from a scouting report?

I suppose im the youngest poster on this thread and honestly dont remember the bills ever being good. It has been fun at times rooting for them but it has also been very discouraging the last couple of years. I am 18 and am just old enough to remember marv and kelly and kelly running no huddle opening the game. I am not old enough to remember a single superbowl. I have had a rough go as a fan(think about the last ten years). Every year i think the same thing though. (probably because im young and green) This is the year the bills are going to give me something to be proud of. I really try and keep up my blind optimism and hope for a playoff berth. Maybe this is the year.

This is a good attempt by management even if it doesnt go through. He is a solid player and if we get him would be a good addition. Keep on making offers levy, the team has a lot of holes

All right. Can we at least say that our wrs are good with moulds and fine without. We have evans, reed, davis, and parrish, among others. IS there a transaction that should be made on wrs because as i see it we are solid and should not worry about them unless it comes to where we need cap room and need to cut moulds. Saftey is alright with bowen but is a step down in my opinion from milloy. Lines are horrible and it may end up with a daft day full of linesmen for the bills. I would like to see at least 3 veteren linesmen come in though. QB: what can you do? I dont want to draft a qb at 8 because we cant put a young qb behind a bad line and expect him to grow. (JP) I would rather keep the two we have and make them fight over the job until opening day. Backfield needs a FB as i understand. We just got a TE. Andre davis and Mcgee can handle special teams returns. I dont think we are that far from a solid team.

Geez, some of these posters are quite testy. Relax mead im just saying that im hoping for the best and rooting for marv to get a good team together for us. We havnt taken a snap yet and therefore we dont know what we got, youre right, but i dont like having so many transactions where we dont know until gametime if it was the right decesion but i guess thats football.

Lets just hope management picks up the pace and makes some moves that actually will make a difference form day one. So far we havent had a ttransaction that we can say definately made the team better. We can say however that releaseing some of the guys we did made the team worse. Im rooting for levy on this one but he has to make a couple big additions this offseason. He has a lot of holes to fill and if he puts some average players in some while putting some very good players in other we can say he did a decent job.

Is marv awake is not entirely off base guys. I think he is a little too negative for a bills fan since if we dont have blind optimism we would kill ourselves half way throught he season. The adds being made to the team do not in any way look like starters. These are guys that im fine with backing up but starting them should not be the plan. At least moves are being made and we need to keep making moves becuase we do have cap room and we do need starters and we will not find them in the draft either. At least wells i beileve is a starting linemen. He is no all star but its a start on a team that has a lot of holes.

Yo I am outside of the country and missed all of last season. Illbe back in the us for this season and i want to know what we need in order to have a solid team. I know we have a lot of holes but we got some cap room and some freedom to make a couple of transactions. Let me here you tell me what transaction you think marv should make. I dont know what to think of matt bowen. Is he good or not. God knows that we need a saftey and he does have speed but there is a lot more to the position than that. Plus is he our number one. The DB coach has coached him before so i assume he knows what hes got.

Man, a lot of people underestimate the wrs that the bills have i like evans, reed, and davis. Id like to see more of parrish too in slot and andre reed like situations. He could be good. Moulds is not necesarry but until we give more experience and see recievers like reed and parrish develop a little more it would be damn nice to have an all star wr like moulds for the young guys to follow. And we got a little room so i would like to see moulds stay

Its good to see the bills are are least trying to fill the huge gaps in their team. The lines have been a problem for years so i hope this goes through. getting this young guy for five years should be good and with the offer we made marv must be sure that his injury has healed as good as new.
