I still think we'll make the pay-offs ... but only if this team gets their head out of the assess and into the games. We have to stop buying the hype that we're an elite team and focus on stacking some wins.
After struggling for the first half against Miami, I thought that would've been a wake-up call.
Living with the Tennessee loss over the by week should have been a wake-up call.
How many wake-up calls does this team need?
Losing to the Jags shows that we can lose to anyone. It's time to adjust our expectations.
We're 3 games out of the lead for first in conference.
1/2 game ahead of NE for the division.
Within 1 game of 7 teams in the mix for 3 play-off spots.
We'll probably drop more games we should win. We need to focus on winning the division and making the play-offs and hope that figure something out by the play-offs.
Hell, old friend, I don't want to think about the past except to say that this team reminds me on those old SB teams, except besides that these guys are more likeable. I'm hoping that the best team wins this Sunday and hope that it's us!
I always had respect for Bledsoe though. I was at his first game in the NFL and we beat the ever-loving sh*t out of him that day. He wasn't consistent, but he sure was tough.
He never started. Came in after an injury and was BRUTAL. He admitted afterwards that he didn't read the playbook and was cut right after that
I was in Boston when I found out we started for him and was talking smack with a cabbie.
He told me "You're excited, I get that. After 8 games you'll find out why we're glad to get rid of him".
Truly sage words
I agree and it's troubling that they came out so flat after 2 bad games against the Titans & Chiefs.
I'm not a Jets fan, but I feel bad for Jets fans. Gase is brutal
