This concerns me that Tua has thrown for more yards than Josh over this time period, truly if Josh is MVP how good must Tua be!

Tua is good, a very good passer within their system. But Josh is a very good all around Quarterback and a great athelete, who could play well in any system!

Metaphorically speaking, Tua is one dimensional, Josh is multi dimensional. Could Tua have taken that pitch back from Amari Cooper and scored? No. he wouldn't have even thought to be there to get, let alone scored if he did.

Torrence has been off since last season. He’s struggling right now, sophomore slump.

Yes, the analysis I saw last season on him said he was descending in the 2nd half as likely teams had seen enough tape on him and saw his weaknesses. He is the weak link on the O-Line.

Why did he stop working with Palmer, I mean he has earned that right of course, just curious

I believe it's been a collaboration "with" Palmer, whether it still is now hasn't been specifically stated. As reported in this interesting article from Jan 2022: https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Daily/Issues/2022/01/24/Technology/josh-allen-embraces-technology-to-transform-himself-from-loose-cannon-to-maybe-a-3d-mvp.aspx

"private sessions with quarterback whisperer Jordan Palmer, who, in March of 2020, introduced Allen to a football-technology whisperer: Chris Hess"

"His prime advice was for Allen to work with Palmer on not lifting his back heel before planting his front stride foot, essentially to create proper ground force."

And this from May 8, 2024 https://buffalowdown.com/posts/mechanics-source-bills-josh-allen-rise-2020-01hvt06fdyn1  implies he still is working with Palmer. "Since the pre-draft process and during the offseason, Allen has worked with Palmer to improve his arm mechanics, footwork, and game knowledge. The specific change Palmer is widely known to have influenced Allen is his arm mechanics."

From another old article: Josh Allen works with Palmer (left) and Mike White (far right), a biomechanics specialist who helps Palmer's clients to refine their throwing motions.

Question: how does IR work during the playoffs?  I mean there's only 3 games max left so if we IR someone, does that mean he's gone?

According to Sal C, if IR'ed now, the player is done for the year.

He has also stated that the limit on Practice Squad elevations are unlimited during the playoffs.

    Confirmed here: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-playoff-rule-change-teams-now-have-unlimited-practice-squad-promotions-per-report/

  5. The Buffalo Bills are listing the following players as INACTIVE for today's Wild Card game against the Steelers:

    WR Gabe Davis

    S Taylor Rapp

    LB Tyrel Dodson

    CB Rasul Douglas

    OL Alec Anderson

    DE Kingsley Jonathan

    DT Poona Ford

Unfortunately no Rasul, but K. Elam gets his first action since coming off IR.

    Linval over Poona

For many years, the Bills played the 'Phins in Miami early in the season and then hosted them in the winter. I liked that arrangement until the Miami stadium sunshine advantage came into play. I like this even better - we avoid the heat and still get a "home game" against them in the winter.

I wonder if the clear advantage they got in last year's early game affected the league's decision to flip-flop the home and away games.

They flip flop them every year, at least in recent history. Next fall the Bills will be in the sun again. Unfortunately I don't think the league gives a flip about the unfair advantage (and severe health risks) those conditions present. The Bills can't put up sun shades unless the other team does (ridiculous League rules), and of course the Dolphins are already in the shade so they don't need them; thus they're denying the Bills to do so.

The OP mentioned Elam to IR. So I will ask here since the other Elam thread is receiving next to no traction.

    1. When was Elam injured?

    2. did that hamper his play this season  in your opinion, Or does he simply suck.

    3. Can a player be added to the IR and NOT be injured?

‘“Not everything’s been perfect, and he has had a nagging ankle,” Beane said. “We’re discussing whether to shut him down or not and let it heal. So he has been a scratch, I wouldn’t say he’s been a 100% healthy scratch, part of it has been it hasn’t worked out perfectly in the games so far.”’

Young men in white shirts hand out tracts at my house all the time but I haven’t seen the ones with the Bills logo. Sweet!

This is taking place on a tract of land at your house? So are you keeping track of those tracts?
