  1. He looks like trouble.
  2. Doesn't sound like you failed at anything. Your son thinks he is the smartest guy he knows, which isn't unusual at that age. Live and learn, maybe now he'll realize Pop knows what he is talking about.
  3. "Ummmm Honey, I just noticed something. We need to talk..."
  4. Another helpful hint.... If you are out on a date, NEVER order anything with garlic and/or onions. Nobody wants to get it on with somebody who smells like rotting meat. Again, if you eat garlic and think you don't smell, you are mistaken.
  5. Just a general FYI for those who interact with other human beings. If you eat something with garlic in it for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you smell. You don't just kind of smell, you stink. Brushing your teeth does not help with the smell of garlic. You will only smell like a hunk or rotting meat with toothpaste on top. If you ate something with garlic and think you do not stink, you are wrong, you do. Thank you.
  6. Things could be worse. At least he likes girls.
  7. Wrangler jeans? Did your mom buy them for you?
  8. Yes. I am going to the Jets game with your gf too...
  9. ABCs Superstars
  10. Well that was a waste of 90 minutes...They were the 4th place team, and they go home. Pretty gay show.
  11. TO declines the interview
  12. Are you a trowel or blade guy?
  13. If you are bringing your wife, isn't it really $76?
  14. Please delete your TBD account immediately and place your man card in the mail. Thank you.
  15. When it smells so bad you can taste it, I will usually recommend to the person in the stall that they seek medical advice.
  16. That was my thought. For the second and third coats, it is really more for minor imperfections, so a thinning it out a bit might make it easier work with. On the positive side, at least the wallpaper was only above the chair rail. Thanks again.
  17. Thanks. I think I may have gone a little too thick on the first coat. On the second and third coat (if needed), do you water your compound down a little more than usual?
  18. I actually watched a couple episodes of that show and thought the same thing. They are running around playing sailor, ramming their boat into icebergs. The whole time I am hoping the hull will rip open.
  19. A fantasy draft on August 1st??
  20. There is a small chain in NC called Buffalo's Bar and Grill. They have decent wings, as long as you tell them how to cook them. They have the sauce right, but they'll undercook them everytime unless you specifically tell them.
  21. I removed a bunch of wallpaper recently in my dining room. Of course the original owners/builder cut corners and did not seal the wall before putting up the wallpaper. Removing the old paper was a brutal and of course it messed up the drywall. After removing the paper I already sanded the walls and primed them with a special Zinser sealer/primer. I put my first skim coat of compound on last night, good times. My question is, should I sand BEFORE I put on a second skim coat, or should I just put on the second skim coat without sanding? I have read different opinions so I was just curious if anybody has done this themselves and can provide advice. Thanks all.
