  1. Nope, but it sure will buy a lot of "pipe weed"
  2. 5 years, $230.5M, $160M gtd. Just reported on ESPN.
  3. You didn't know? Hap threads are the new Tremaine Edmunds. Maybe I should change the title to "Can we talk about Hapless Bills Fan?"
  4. I noticed Hapless Bills Fan hasn't been on the board since May. Just wondering if any of you had contact with Hap outside of the board and hoping nothing bad had taken place.
  5. Yep. They can't talk about completion percentage, 300 yard games, 400 yard games, or anything else anymore. Now, he's a fatboy whose body is going to fall apart because he's not on the TB12 diet.
  6. I can believe the 245lb weight disclosure from Fournette. In that video posted from July 1 of him working out I would guess he weighed around 240lbs. In the Florida heat, he'll likely burn off the other 15lbs in TC pretty easily to be at his normal playing weight.
  7. He's a genuinely good dude, and by all accounts a great teammate, but his limitations are evident. Trouble reading defenses, especially over the middle of the field. He didn't trust what he saw and throw the ball to open windows where his guys could go get it. This caused him to hold onto the ball too long and the windows would close. He was champion of the check down, numerous times throwing the ball short to gain meaningless yards on 3rd downs. He also didn't quite understand ball placement on certain routes or in certain situations during the game. The Playoff game against Jacksonville was prime example of this. Every now and again he would throw a beautiful deep pass, but he still wasn't consistent enough to be starting caliber. I liked Tyrod and hold no ill will towards him. He was the QB of the team that ended the drought. Kudos for him to be able to hang onto a job and do as well as he has in this league for all of these years.
  8. Great, there goes Hawkins
  9. He definitely doesn't look 260lbs in the video. Maybe 240lbs, but not 260lbs. He may run the other 15lbs off in TC pretty easily down in FL.
  10. This is the biggest thing. After his run in Jax and last couple of seasons with Tampa, he finally gets some "financial stability" so to speak then immediately reverts back to poor lifestyle decisions.
  11. Yikes. I know some people on here were clamoring for him. This isn't a good look. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/07/18/report-leonard-fournette-weighs-almost-260-pounds-bucs-coaches-arent-happy/
  12. I'm going with the Colts. They have the better defense and Ryan is a clear upgrade over Wentz. Tannehill is going to feel the loss of AJ Brown as well. I know Derrick Henry is a freak of nature, but even his body will break down if they keep giving him 400+ carries a season.
  13. Brown is a good player and has been since he was in Baltimore. They knew his mentality though when they traded for him. In Baltimore he didn't want to play RT because LT was where the $$$ is still at. Baltimore thought they were getting a healthy Stanley back and sent him to KC. He plays out the final year of his rookie deal knowing he truly has all of the leverage at this point. With the money being tossed around everywhere these days, it's not really surprising he's asking for $25M. Someone will give him a deal that is more to his liking if it's not going to be KC. If they are forced to trade him though, especially if he threatens a Vincent Jackson (RIP) type of holdout, it will surely leave another hole on an offense already about to find out what life is like without Tyreek Hill.
  14. I just want us to steamroll and beat the brakes off of all these ho's this year. The Chiefs, the Titans, the Bengals, the Steelers, the Rams, the Ravens, the Browns, the Packers, the Pats, the Phins, the Jets, and anyone else that we run up on in the Playoffs/Super Bowl. I know undefeated is not gonna happen, but I want every team to feel the wrath of the Bills for every single short coming, crap call, and heartbreaking defeat since 1965 until present day.
  15. I know he has not blown up yet, but Gabe reminds me A LOT of Terrell Owens. His mentality is completely different, but he is the same type of physical specimen and has a lot of similar traits to Owens' game. This year, with him being the clear cut #2 going into the season, I expect him to have a breakout similar to Owens 3rd year in SF.
  16. If they are looking for a way to extend the season, without adding another game, then it's not a bad idea really. It gives guys an additional week off to heal during the regular season. I wouldn't be surprised if another bye is added within the next couple of years. With the physical toll of 17 games and an expanded Playoffs format, where only 1 team gets a bye, I can see the players pushing for it.
  17. Zach Wilson: "Yeah, totally, totally, those allegations are false."
  18. Next up for Zach Wilson? Mono?
  19. This is great. @ the Browns doing even more Browns things. I think Baker in a different setting, with a healthy McCaffrey, Dj Moore, Robbie Anderson, and Tommy Tremble will make for a much better offense than they had on the field last year.
  20. If all of the signings on defense provide what I think they will provide to this team, then the hype is legit and warranted.
  21. The true "author" of that article right now, Drew Rosenhaus:
  22. The play is unfolding in front of him and he chooses to shoot through a gap that leaves him completely out of position, i.e. guessing the wrong gap. There have been multiple times as well where he has been in place to make a play, but either doesn't see the ball carrier right there or is looking for something else. He also has a tendency to take some really bad angles 4 years in. I'm not saying his entire game is bad, because he does make some plays, but he also leaves a lot of plays he could/should have made on the field. A lot of the mistakes he makes are the same ones he made as a rookie. I hope the revamped DL makes a difference for him, but I'm not handing the guy a big contract if I'm our FO. He's decent, but not spectacular and you don't pay decent LB's $15M-$18M per season. You can see some examples of what you'll find from Edmunds, and what I'm talking about, on a weekly basis below.
  23. My Pop used to tell me "a blind crow gets a piece of corn every once in a while." If you watch Edmunds, like we all do, then for every one of these TFL's he's made against the run he has also guessed the wrong gap three times leaving an open lane when he could have made a bigtime play. Then he also has run directly into blockers getting himself caught up in the wash four times.
