Extreme Makeover home in foreclosure
BUFFALOTONE replied to HelloNewman's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I definetly see your point. There is this sub shop in South Florida called Laspadas, probably the best subs anywhere. Absolutely huge and they use top quality meat. Anyway there is 3 of them in great locations and all they except is cash. No credit or debit. You can ask anyone of our wallers from here and they will tell you the same thing. What kills me is the place is always packed. The service is great, and the guys working behind the counter seem to actually enjoy what they are doing. You dont see many high school kids staring at you through a mop of hair and asking you "what you want". What I really want is to pull him over the counter and slap that stupid look off his face. Anyway my point is the owner makes an absolute fortune out of just subs. No wings, no pizza. My brother and I have ran over it 1000 times about opening a pizzaria down here. People down here dont want good food, with the exception of a few, they would rather have a shi--y pie delivered then actually go and get it. One day we will say f@%* it and do it. He's the brains in the family and would do well on the business side. -
Extreme Makeover home in foreclosure

Not arguing with you but isn't that how most places get started. "Uncle Vinny makes great pizza, hey he should open his own place." 50 years later they are the most famous place in the city for pizza. It's the American dream. Then there are the ones that more often than not fail miserably. I am truly convinced that location is beyond key. I am the tpe who will go way out of my way for good food. But most people dont know what good food is, they just want it now. -
You dont even need to go that far. If you have a can of Coke handy it will do the same thing as a 7 dollar can of corrosive cleaner. It will chew right through that corrossion. Imagine what that crap does to your stomach? Richmond, like everyone else says above the terminals were bad and the attendant shorted the connection. Check your terminals every 6 months. Its not just the battery that goes bad but it makes the rest of the ignition system work harder. Alternator, starter, distributor etc, etc. You should actually change your batter yearly no matter if its bad or not. It will help the car in the long run.

See your point. But Butler was a solid RG last year and shows that he can be there for the long haul. Our real problem was at Center and QB, its real hard to run a balanced offense when you have 1 real weapon and a green QB. That weapon is always double covered too. I agree with the Peters argument and I understand his perspective, "I am LT I made the Pro Bowl, Pay me!" Thats his arguement and a damn good one. But the guy has 3 years left to play. Wo actually knows whats really going on, the Bills FO could be stonewalling him. All they know is we paid you get your azz here. Im sorry but Kelsay isnt worth the jock strap he puts on. Until this guy really steps up and plays to his full potential the Bills got hosed. Watching him get beat by every RT in the game is beyond disheartning.

Its sad but I agree with you that this is probably Lee's last season as Bill. If they wanted to get something done it would have happened by now. With the money WR's are getting on the open market I can see him out the door. While you do make osme solid points I disagree with the fact that the Fo is signing mediocre talent. They all cnat be game breakers but they are doing a great job of securing young talent in the right places. Who knows half these guys could be Pro Bowlers 2 years from now and we could have got them on the cheap, you dont know that. kelsay argument is dead on, this guy needs to earn his pay or be released. He has been terrible. Peters will be in camp, he will not sit out and they will do something similar to what Urlacher did.

I've gotten Cuff links, (2) monogrammed flasks, A cheap tommy Hilfiger watch, Monogrammed Air Jordan Sneakers from the early 90's(cool idea but I will never wear them) All in all it really doesnt friggin matter. I bought my guys there silk ties for the wedding. Those were $75 a pop. I wasnt going to make them rent the tux and pay for the ties. But everyone can always use a nice tie so it is functional. My friggin wife didnt like the colors that came with the normal rental. I also bought them a round of golf. I had 7 guys as well. I live in South Florida so i wanted to get them all custom Reef Sandles. My wife said it was lame. I told them and they said it would have been great, just goes to show you, women dont know sh-t. Good Luck Steve.

Well I have to say a nice natural rack. The first girl I was with was blessed by the lord himself. This was back in '94 and I still see her father once in a while around town, and he always stops at chats me up but all I can think about while hes rambling on is his daughter. From what I heard she didnt blossom so well into high school and so forth. Real weird seeing how her old man is a big shot where I live. Poor bastard had 4 girls and all were pretty good looking or "blessed". Never did meet the mother though. In the end I married a beautiful woman who happens to be built in the same fashion, gotta go with what works.

eating 6 meals a day can actually speed up your metabolism and help you lose weight. Of course it is dependent on what you are eating as well. Starches and carbs are all good ways to beef up. If you are a high energy guy than again the added element could help you burn fat. Also if you really want to gain, ice cream is quite honestly the worst thing you can eat next to anything from a fast food restaurant. If you could ask any actor that had to beef up for a roll quickly they will tell you that ice cream or milk shakes will do it. You also want to eat healthy food as well for nutrients but you could get the same thing from vitamins.

Simon, whats your handicap? People buy drivers because they see someone else killing theres. Its all about your swing path and speed. Whats almost as important as the type of driver is the shaft you put into it. For the higher handicap golfers the New King Cobra is very forgiving and goes a long way. Its made for a swing speed between 85-95 mph depending on the shaft. I have been a huge advocate of Cleveland all my Irons and wedges are Cleveland as well as my driver. My advice is Demo a few and see what you think. It took me 4 drivers to figure out the new Ping G10 was for me. Absolutely love it. Its a lil pricy but think of it as an invesment, you will have it for at least 3-4 years and whats 300 bux over that long a time. If you buy cheap sh-t you get what you pay for. Especially with golf clubs. If your a regular golfer the way to go is demo, like anything else it has to feel good and look right when you set up to the ball. I have a regular guy that plays the TaylorMade DRAW and he is in the market for a new driver already, that doesnt mean you wont like it. But theres a reason why all of them are on sale.
