Wait a second, your buying your first boat and are asking for constructive tips on boating. Do yourself a favor and save the money. You will be doing everyone on the water a service.

Not even close pal. Do you watch football?

Agreed. Get them acclimated early. They are athletes that play once a week, if they need rest dont run them ragged in the practice. I know in the first few pre season games they like to see what they have as far as free agents and scout depth chart fill ins. But Trent is just as green as the rest, especially because he is a QB in a new system. I dont care about the OTA's and staying after practice notthing compares to an actual game, where guys want to actually hit the QB because all week they cant. And its not like our guys didnt get hurt in the reg season last year. If its going to happen its going to happen. Get them working together in a game situation as much as possible. Thats the only way a young team will click.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true I like how they touched on Kelly a bit in the article. Man it hurts to see the revolving door at QB here. Lets hope Edwards gets this ship set in the right direction. Pretty good read over all.

I am a Tanker Operator (the ones that carry your fuel and other chemicals from coast to coast) My company does work with Jamie Nails' company as well, but I have never met the guy at least I think I didnt. I live in South Florida and have not missed the Bills/Fins game in 12 years. I try to make it back as often as I can. Was at the Miami game in Buf last year. Going to be there Monday night against Cleveland for sure. And no I dont get free gas and I cant get you any.

Im sorry but 14 teams is way too much for 1 league. Drafting has to be ridiculous, the drop off in talent is major by the time you choes again. If you want my opinion I would need to know your structure. If you start 1QB or 1RB you take the best available, flip a coin between Brady and LT cant go wrong. BUt seeing as you have 14 teams QB are going to be a premium, alot of teams like running back by commitee so you could stuill get a decent back. Someone wil grab TO and Moss with the first pick which shouls open the door for you a little. I happen to think Big Ben and Santonio Holmes wil be this years Randy and Tom. Just a thought. They installed a new spread offense, I like what they are doing there. If you can go LT, Ben and Welker your in good shape. -
The lead singer from REM?

Nobody listens anymore. And did someone say Beck was going to be released? The guy was a 2nd round draft pick last year, I dont care if he pushes parcells mother down stairs he is not getting let go with out some sort of compensation.

I am talking about fantasy football.

You do know he played a whole season right? While I wouldn't spit on this guy if he were on fire he did have a good year. This is a lil scope to clean out the scar tissue. He will be fine by week 2. But from what I heard Baltimore loves the way Rice is running the ball. Could be a late steal.

Maybe the Bills couldn't afford Favre?
BUFFALOTONE replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You dont bring a guy like Favre in to tutor young guys. Especially not in the physical sense of the game. Hes a gunslinger who takes a lot of chances. Im sure he prepares mentally but he relies more on his physical ability. Thats the one thing i love about him he reminds me of a kid playing with his friends in the park. I remember seeing a special when he first got to GB after the trade and was in a QB meeting and asked one of the guys what DIME was. Wow a guy that was in the league for that long asked what DIME was. -
Im not taking anything away from what Favre has done in his career. From one year to the next. When he had Walker and Driver he lit it up but in 05-06 he had 38 TDs to 47 INT's compare that in 07 when he was 28 TD and 15 INTs. The talent was around him last year. Thats why he had such a great year.
-
I think GB had to see what they had with Rodgers, you dont draft a 1st rounder and let him ride the pine for 3 years. Granted he is no Favre but who knows. I personally think the guy will do well this year.
-
Agreed, I think he only wanted to play for GB and thats it. Once they said you are not in our future plans like any of us would have said ok I will stick it to you twice a year then. He either wanted to go to Minny or Chi, thats it. The Jets were the furthest thing from GB ever playing against him. Theres no doubt a motivated Favre is unbelievably dangerous but his skills are starting to diminish. That presser yesterday was painful to watch, at any second I thought he was going to stand up and shout FU Ted Thompson.

Outside of Evans, Lynch and Parrish we do not have an established threat. Rodgers had been in the league for 3 years waiting for his shot. He couldnt have stepped into a better scanrio to succeed. We all saw the real favre in January against the Giants. Rodgers will be just fine in GB. PLus playing the NFC North is nothing ti write home about.
-
Jenning, Driver, Martin, James Jones all had a solid year. Jennings and Jones are HR threats every time they touch it and Driver is great in the middle Not to mention Grant, Brandon Jackson and Wynn + a very good OL. And I love that Kid Jordy Nelson by the way. He is one to watch. yes I would say they are stacked.
-
Favre is going to have a real tough time this year. GB is absolutely stacked. Now you go to a Jets team who is built themselves ala the Daniel Snyder blue print. Find a big name and throw him money. It takes a few years for a line to gel, we are a testament to that. Woody and Faneca are decent pickups but put all of those guys together and its hard to get everyone clicking. For you fantasy players Aaron Rodgers will do very well this year. He is my dark horse. Knows the system in and out and has the tools. There is a minimal learning curve once he gets on the field. Great 4-5th round snag.

Brandon did say in an interview that they expect Peters to honor the contract but he needs to be in camp to talk about it. They said they will not talk contractt till he shows. End of story, done deal.

Ive actually been to that bar in Holywood. Never saw anything going on. We went with a group of friends who know the owner and about 3 hours into drinking someone mentioned it was a swingers bar. Didnt look that way to me. Until the owners wife took her top off and started grinding on the stripper pole. then it all clicked. But nothing crazy went on. All I know is I must have drank a bottle of crown and my tab was 22 bux. After 4 hours of us boozing. -
