Boxer mutt. We know about the boxer but what he's mixed with is anyone's guess. We've probably gotten about a dozen different guesses. Got him from a no-kill rescue group when we still lived in Florida. They had picked him and his brothers/sisters up when the mother was hit by a car. Pretty smart dog (for the most part) tough little guy (mentally and physically - he had his share of scraps at the dog park and also survived a bout of Parvo) and is excellent with my little guy, very patient, loves to play. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g280/bmw...ary20050006.jpg

That's what I am leaning towards - baseball, basketball, hockey (might be a tad too expensive for us, though)-- heck, even soccer. It's tough for me - I played in HS and had a lot of fun, I've worked around high school and college football, and I'd love for him to have the same experiences. But not at the expense of his mind.

I can tell you I am leaning the same way. My wife doesn't want him to play football at all, and right now I am on the fence at best.

That is pretty cool. There are similar sites out there for individual states, so you can see a lot of the HS helmets. Here's the NY site: http://www.nyhelmetproject.com/ You'll have to Google the state you want to see, but so far I've seen NY, Ohio, Florida, Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Georgia...some cool designs out there. Interesting stuff.

Same here. As Darin noted, it probably increased my hatred for him and JauronBallTM. Hey, it's an improvement. Remember when they forced Romo into six turnovers - five INTs and one fumble - in that MNF debacle? This time they got their six takeaways and managed to get to OT and win the game. Baby steps, cincy - baby steps.
