I'm right here. I think DJ is still a very good coach. People get pissed because he isn't a B word like some other coaches, but every coach has their own style and I like his. The players like his style, and halfway through the season they have a winning record. The Bills have steadily improved every year under DJ, and despite the past few weeks I see them posting a better record than last year. I would call 3 4th quarter comebacks being a good game manager and good at making adjustments. Last year he was excellent at challenges. BTW - who would you suggest he put on Moss all day, BTW? You do realize that whoever you don't put on Welker, you put on Moss. Anyway, get used to DJ because he's going to be here.

Just forget about your emotions when you do and look at it objectively. - Running game was still bad, but wasn't called on much, either. - O-line showed no progress. - Special teams improved. - Defense wasn't that bad. Looked better than they did against the Jets. I saw progress, especially considering our two best players were injured. - Edwards finally looks like a 2nd year QB, which despite what people may think is fine. Pay attention to the lack of penalties and bad calls. I don't remember a game called like this in years. The zebras were horrible enough to bring out the conspiracy theorist in me.

It is the refs job to recognize that he threw the flag. If it was on the playing field, it is on the refs to recognize it.

So everyone is planning on the Bills losing, but whine like a bunch of wussies when they DO lose. There's plenty of time left in the season, and if you can take off your idiot blinders, the Bills didn't play too bad considering injuries and playing against NE, in NE, and who have historically benefited from excellent calls from the refs. (as and aside, how many holding penalties were called on NE? none? hmm.) The Bills aren't out of the playoff hunt, but you friggin idiots are whining. THIS is when the Bills circle the wagons. This is when the bills fans rally around the team. This is when fans show that they are REAL fans. Beyond this rant, if you don't think your 2nd year QB will go through growing pains, I don't know what to say. Your expectations aren't realistic. Not that our current coach isn't good, but there's apparently differences how he wants things done, and the O-line isn't grasping them yet. Add in the subtle differences between Turk and Clements, and I think we're seeing some issues with that. I expect everything will improve as the year goes on. I just hope we don't fire someone on the coaching staff and lose more continuity. Continuity is underrated among fans.
