1. It makes no sense to me, either. I can't stand idiots who fight at a game. Playfull ribbing and trash talk is fun, but sheesh people get out of control.

I hate to sound elitist, but most of the time both parties in a fight are white trash drunken toothless morons. (ignore the picture to your left, please)

  2. I've run into an anomaly while installing my dimmer switch. The two black wires are twisted together and attached to one terminal of the old dimmer. There is one RED wire attached to the other terminal. White wires are knotted together inside the box.

Before I go and hook my new one up the same way (the other one worked for 17+ years then stopped dimming, although the lights still turn on and off)...

I always thought that dimmer switches should have one black attached to each terminal. If so, what's the red wire?

Red wire is always hot, just like black. It certainly sounds like it's part of a series. I would check the light that you are trying to control with the dimmer and see what is hooked up to it. My guess would be the red wire. I'd be interested in knowing if there were also any white wires were hooked up to.

  3. Profootballtalk.com is reporting this.  I don't like this at all

Oh God. Another idiotic profootballshit post. Here's a clue: don't believe a friggin thing on that site.

    1. See all those ads? Do you realize the moron owner of the site only gets paid if people go there?

    2. Since he has no real news, he has to make crazy claims to get people to his site and view those ads.

It's a scam, fellas, and I thought people here were smart enough to fall for that idiocy.

  4. Respectfully, I think the place for Travis right now is the bench. We've got a better RB in there now, and every down that Travis plays is one where he could get hurt, and his value would be ZERO.

Regarding the salary cap, we are only hit by the prorrated bonus, not any salary problems.

That analogy is pure wrong. Travis wants to start. While we keep him nailed to the pine for 95% of the plays, his morale drops and when he comes on the field we get about 30% of what he is capable of delivering... If we used him more - we'd see his effort increase, his output increase and his trade value increase.

Someone in the FO needs to tell Travis that he's gonna be off the team come the end of the year and he needs to put some more effort in if he want the $$$ he thinks he deserves.

  5. Don't be surprised if the game is close, there will be some ridiculous call by some official favoring the Pats.  Plaxico Burris was right.  The Patriots have their own set of rules.  Bob Kraft must have pics of Tagliabue somewhere.

This is totally key. The Bills will have to beat the Pats despite the best efforts of the NFL to give the Pats the game. Given some of the horrible calls that happened this year, it's fairly clear that every year there are a few "golden child" teams and players that just don't get called for stuff.

Example? Ray Lewis. This guy can hold ANYONE in pass protection and not get called. You can count the entire Pats team in this one as well. Bills will just have to make sure they account for this, because it's going to happen.

  6. OK here's the deal.  Airlines have cheesed out and are using these little commuter jobs (Delta: Cinci to Buffalo).  Since I have such a severe pucker factor about flying (cant drive a needle up my butt with a sledge hammer) the prospect of flying in one of these puddle jumpers does not make me happy.  I cant medicate myself (Dr. Jim Beam) because I will be with the family.  No other airline flies wide bodies into Buffalo anymore either.

So has anyone taken this ride of the Valkyrie, and how was it?

On the up side, Buffalo is home January 2nd.

Yeah, I fly them all the time. 50 seats is NOT small. I go between Rochester and DC quite often, and usually it's one of those.

Don't worry about it. If you're really anxious call the doc for some xanax. It's great. Even without it, you'll be fine. The legroom is a little tight, but it's not that bad.

Unless something has changed since we played the Steelers in Pittsburgh in the playoffs all those years ago, the Steelers radio booth is one of the least objective bunch of homers in the league.  And Cope was unlistenable even before any throat surgery.

    This pissed me off:

    4. New York Jets (6-2). Mulligan.

Mulligan? Mulligans are illegal. Not only that, we kicked their ass. It wasn't a bad game by the Jets, it was a good game by the Bills.

  8. This has been argued over and over.  I asked when did Bush utter those words.  You show me a sign.  Unless he barfed up those words on to the sign or ordered that sign written they are not his words.  Did he order that sign written?  I don't know and neither do you.  So there is no sense in arguing an unprovable point.

Whatever. Friggin apologists sicken me. The white house admitted that it had a hand in it. Now where does the president reside? OH THE WHITE HOUSE!

Is it so difficult for you to admit that Bush & his staff were wrong? Iraq is turning into a cesspool.

  9. Well I was on my way home from work and I figured I would stop by The Big Tree for an icy cold one.  Well I go in and shoot the stevestojan with one of the co-owners (fellow baseball player in WNY), well in comes our O-Line and Drew.  Solid......well Vallerial came right over to us and ordered a round of shots...solid...he is a GREAT guy...anyways , they are FIRED up to get the JETS here on Sunday and they said they expect to let Willis run all day on the Jets....Well, lets hope so...but it was nice to see them in such a positive mood like that!  Git er Done!

    103207

I'm incredibly pleased that the o-line hangs out together, especially with the QB there. That type of thing is what made the Bills great back in the day.

Buffalo isn't like other football towns, and I'm glad to see these guys carrying on the tradition. I'm of the mind that much of what needs to get done with this offensive line can be accomplished over a beer, and not in a meeting room.

  10. Everyone who makes it to such a lofty perch has an ego.  Otherwise they'd never make a decision and wouldn't get there.  Donahoe is smart, much smarter than people here give him credit for.  That doesn't mean he's perfect.

    101795

Oh, he's certainly not perfect (*cough* greggg williams *cough* drew bled*cough*), but I think he's admitted his mistakes by the moves he's made. He got rid of williams, and drafted a guy to replace Bledsoe.
