1. Bwaaa haaa! I'm sure that was too easy, but great post, Dan!

...and New England only put 30 up against them in New England.  I guess, through the kind of conclusion you are trying to draw, that we are better than NE.  I could have swore that you were trying to paint a negative picture, but okay.

...and yet the Seahawks still beat your COTY candidate.  I guess if you are going to draw parallels then the Panthers really super suck.

Seems to me you were saying 4 weeks ago that two out of three road wins and a win over St. Louis would make us "legitimate."  http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=9096

    At the time:

-the Rams had the same win/loss %age as they do now.

-the Seahawks were on top of the division.  They still are.

-Miami was beatable.  They still are.

So what changed between then and now that, in meeting the criteria you established on 11/7, the Bills still suck?

Oh, and BTW, it's too bad the genius Parcells put the old washed up QB in instead of the "QB of the future."  After all, being a genius Parcells should know that the only way the Cowboys will win a Super Bowl is if he starts Henson now...And if the Seahawks suck so bad that the Bills beat them, then Henson should have been able to throw for 6 TDs against them....

  2. IF the Bills come close to running the table with Drew at QB,

we may be actually be able to trade him to another team like Dallas,

maybe get another #2 or #3.

    150163

Not only that, every good game Drew has sends Ice into more of a nonsensical rampage. Hilarious.

  3. It is amazing that some people that call themselfs fans can sit and accept this sh-- so lightly. We have total moron for a GM that thinks a guy that is not even an average NFL QB is a HOF type QB.

but hey you bledsonians are going to get your wish.

Ice, you are out of your friggin head. I don't see how you can call Donahoe a moron, unless of course you are a moron yourself.

  4. Operating System: XP Home or Pro.

Chip: Intel or AMD - PIV with hyperthreading or amd 3 GHZ or faster

    RAM: 1 gig. No less.

Video Card/Memory: Latest NVIDIA or ATI with 128 meg. Preferably a PCIE card.

Hard Drive: Should be 80 gig or more, preferably SATA.

CD/DVD Drive: DVD writable at least.

Wireless and/or High-Speed Internet capabilities/Cards: Gigabit Lan is nice. Can be an onboard card.

USB Connections: Yes. And Firewire. USB 2.0 is standard now.

Service contract: Most offer one between 2 and 3 years.

anything else that you think is important.

Go with one of the big-name companies. I've had good luck with Dell. I've had a hard time with Gateway.

  5. Julianne Moore is fantastic.

My friends and I were talking about this while on vacation last weekend in Montreal. We had a somewhat animated discussion about who the best actor was currently (Ed Norton, Tim Robbins, Robert DeNiro, Bill Murray all were considered) but sadly we couldn't even come up with a plausible woman to be called America's best actress.

Does anyone have any nominations? She doesn't have to be American, but should appear in American movies. Where have all the Rita Hayworths, Katherine Hepburns, and Meryl Streeps gone?

(If you can spare yourself from the obvious Jenna Jameson, etc. posts on this one, I would appreciate it.)

  6. anyone else she is a really hot piece of english "toffee", every movie i see of hers i am just mesmorized by her, she has a certain elegant(?) quality about her.  I really like her....btw she is in the movie love actually

    139656

I don't think she's that good looking, but I think she's a tremendous actress. One of the best.

  7. Actually JS has been dead on moreso than not this season. I know the homers here don't want to hear that though, but it's true.

Maybe the guy can see the team as it really is, good and bad, without the rose colored glasses?

    139253

Bullcrap. This guy has been down on Donahoe all season, and as soon as it appears that his moves are paying off he clams up. Don't apologize for the idiot just because he shares your crap-nosed attitude.

  8. Butch Davis has been fired as coach of the Cleveland Browns, ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting.

Davis, whose teams went 24-36 overall in three-plus seasons, met with team owner Randy Lerner on Monday night and was told of thBe decision, according to Mortensen.

    Butch Davis

what on earth are players doing helping decide who will coach.........

    139116

Let's hope Syracuse gets him. PP stinks, and he can't attract good players. Syracuse hasn't had good players since Marvin Harrison and Donovan McNabb.

  9. tell us why you love drew

    137999

I admit it, I'm a closet drew fan. I mean, I think she's kinda cute. I know she went through her screwed up drug phase, but I think she looked pretty good in Charlie's Angels and I betcha she'd be a wildcat in bed. Plus, I hear she's bi which is pretty cool.

  10. This thinking cracks me up.

You'll be happy with Bledsoe so long as he throws one TD and three INTs?

His rating was right around a 65. He did NOT have a great game.

Its really, truly sad how low our expectations have gotten.

    137511

Did you even watch the game? I've called for his head in the past, but despite those three bad throws - Drew played damn solid ball. He chucked some that were brilliant throws. He dumped off when he should have, he audibled out of bad plays when needed, and was sacked only once despite people being in his face quite often. Not only that, I think he completed over 60% of his third downs and overall, I think he completed almost 70% of his passes. I don't give a crap how many interceptions he had as long as he can balance it out with the other great things he did. And yeah, he threw only one TD pass, but did you see it? It was awesome. And someone had to help get the bills into the red zone for Willis' 4 TDs. Who might that be?

Not only that, Buffalo scored every time they were within the 10, and were 66% in the red zone. That's damn good. I'm sure Drew had nothing to do with that, either.

I suggest you refrain from comment until you can watch the game. Basing your assessment on passer rating is assinine.

  11. Dude - it was just a joke.

Hey, at least weve got that bastion of fair and balanced reporting, the New York Times, right? Or the LA Times? Newsday? CNN? CBS?

    Naw...but FOX is biased.

By the way, did the NYT report on abuses by United NATIONS troops against people in the Congo, yet? Or are they still looking to find someone who was denied a Kosher meal at Abu Gharaib?

Aint nothing better than a libber bitching about FOX News while reading the NYT, watching a show produced by Marla Mapes and listening to Air America.

    137465

  12. I still think this is why Philly let him go...he's such a solid player. But he heals like a hemophiliac.

    132606

Seriously, it's pretty crazy that he's been injured this long. I'm beginning to think he wasn't worth the $$. I'm not saying Winfield was worth what Minny gave him, but hell - at least he's on the field.

Vincent needs a visit from Earnest Angely, or maybe he should take a bit out of the Mary Sandwich.
