I live in Ohio, and in my county (Darke County) I can tell you that for presidential elections typically about 68% of the registered voters turn out. This is a generally conservative part of the state and we have a decent mix between farming and manufacturing. There has been somewhat of a voter registration going on here, but for the most part the people around here are responsible and informed. They do not need to be talked into registering. My bet is that this is taking place in the cleveland area. That part of the state is well known for its political corruptness. Also the youngstown and akron areas. these places have also been hot beds for voter fraud as well. Oh yea, by the way if you did not already know...all of those areas mentioned are highly liberal. Please don't shoot the messanger, I am just telling you wnats been going on here since I moved to this state back in 1978.

Of course tenny I understand that you were fixated on the leader of the free world. But could you please comment on what you think about your saviors need to cheat? I mean why is it that you elites find it so difficult to simply follow the rules. Or is it that johnny was afraid he would lose track of which lie he was working? I have no doubt that the cheat sheet that lurch too out of his pocket was a guide to his multiplex position on iraq and foreign policy. Kind of like a maze with the beginning and end well defined, but the middle filled with twists, turns, and deadends.

So it appears that kerry clearly pulled something out of his pocket and unfolded it at the podium on Thursday night. Considering that niether of the candiates were allowed such props (even the pens, pencils or blank paper had to be given to the event staff to be placed at the podium) do you consider this to be cheating? I know it seems like a small thingy, but after all this is the very same guy who accuses GWB of doing dishonest things on a daily basis. So much for morals huh. Or is this really just another case of a liberal elite thinking that the stupid little rules are really not important to him because after all he means well. Oh well, lets see what the libs have to say about this.......wonder how they can defend such a classless move?

The thing that will stick with most people a few days from now is not how smooth and well manacured kerry looked, but how many times GWB had to correct him, and how manys times he will be corrected by the media in the coming days. At the end of the day, it is mostly about the content, kerrys arguement that he would do a better job is simple not that strong. He will never be able to escape his inability to take one position and stick with it. People see right thru that. Except of course for the nitwits who for some unknown reason have yet to make up there mind. Forget about the fact that most of these folks probably cannot even spell their name, they will never even be able to find the voting stations, unless they are lead there with a bottle of wine, and a piece of cheese.

Please back up the tivo or vcr pal. The word flip flop never came out of the presidents mouth. But this does prove how effective what he said was because you and the other nitwits in the crowd knew exactly what he was talking about, without even having to say it.

I would say that kerry did a good job presenting himself, and that is what he was tying to do. The content did not seem to be important to kerry, just the fact that he looked good saying whatever it was he said. On a number of occasions, he downright lied, and he did a very good job of that. Case in point, whe he said that he "never said that GWB lied" this is 1--% wrong. He did it on at least two occasions. The problem is, that in a 90 second response it is tough to make the whole case. Because many if not all voters who have even 1/8th of a brain have already made up thier minds, the debates actually does little to effect them. They are basically watching to see their guy slap the other guys around a little. So in the end, the purpose of these debates is to win over the nitwits in the crowd who for some unknown reason have yet to make up thier minds. These people are the same type of people who are likely to screw up a simple punch ballot. So with that in mind, congradulations to kerry for winning the nitwit vote. He deserves it. Therefore, in this regard I think that kerry so called won the 1st debate, and to the vistor goes the nitwits. Good luck with this bunch, they are no doubt a high achieving bunch who may not even be able to find the voting booths on Nov 2nd.

We were right to invade iraq because I have zero doubt in my mind that they were part of the terrorist network around the world. In whatever capacity, they were involved, and SH left to his own accord, would welcome the oppertunty to provide WMD to those who hate us. Also do not forget that almost on a daily basis, SH was shooting at our pilots in the no fly zone. To me that in and of itself is a reason to kick thier ass. We should never put up with anyone directly attacking our troops. We should have stated this war on terror back when they attacked us the first time. So my position is at least clear. Not some whimpy "I hate someone so everything they do must be bad" stance.

What the hell is up with the new and I guess improved johnny kerry. Apparantly his pale looks were not pollin well, so over the weekend he went from casper the friendly ghost to pumpkinhead boy. I read somewhere that the campaign stafff said he got this wonderful tan while playing flag football in Mass with some college boys. The problem with this story is that many of the hip college boys commented even before they started playing about what a cool tan pumpkin boy had. I can see another staffer getting fired in the next day or so, as is kerrys style. Hmmmmm, maybe this was done just to hide where the botox was injected.

Actually the samples you give above are really only applicable to those who do not have a problem with killing children to begin with. They simply need a level of justification. The poll should have read: Do you agree with the process of killing innocent children before they are born?, yes or no. Or more simply, Do you agree with murder for convienience? In either case abortion is just a question of murder yes, or murder no. Not really so complicated.

Well I feel pretty safe here in Ohio then because GWB is giving an awesome speech in Springfield Ohio about 40 miles from me. As for kerry, when he came thru Springfield last time it was after GWB's RNC speech. It was at about midnight and the crowd was filled with the crack whores and pimps who frequent the springfield area. At least GWB did his speech during the day at the fairgrounds where the crowd included mostly normal people with the occasional smattering of clowns and carnies. Oh, those were the protesters, my bad.

It is about damn time. Remember those who harbor or support are no different then those who pull the cord on the bomb that is strapped to their chest. Kill them all, before they can kill other innocent women and children. I like the idea of keeping them on thier heals.
