  1. So this means...after two years of investigation, Mueller doesn't know? By all means, die on that hill.
  2. It'll be shown in court. But not by DR.
  3. That was my point. Federal law enforcement is allowed to investigate an non-existent crime, to attempt to "create" a real crime of obstruction.
  4. Do you realize that you just stated that Democrats are doing nothing but playing politics with a criminal investigation? You clearly don't agree with me at all, if you're okay with that.
  5. Federal law enforcement has an awful lot of latitude that pretty much allows it.
  6. If there's evidence, impeach him on it. That's what impeachment is for: to remove an otherwise-immune official from office so he can be criminally charged. They've only fed you the "We'll charge him once he's out of office" line to string you along for 2020. Yes. And you're the one presuming guilt until innocence is proven.
  7. "[C]learly stated Trump may have..." Do you even understand how stupid that sounds? How do you indict on 12 counts of "may have obstructed?"
  8. He can't even be impeached for it now. And you're only hearing what you want to hear. There's no evidence of obstruction, just vague feelings and interpretations of conflicting opinions.
  9. Yep, everyone has their preconceived notions confirmed by this hearing, but nothing changes. This is just a campaign stunt.
  10. But really...the Russians were found to spend $3M on influencing the election...which somehow the Clinton campaign and their billion-dollar war chest couldn't overcome? Russian Facebook memes somehow counted for more than the 25 years that people had to form their opinions on Hillary Clinton? The "Russian influence" story is prima facie ludicrous.
  11. I'm far more concerned with Google's interference in our 2020 election.
  12. Of course. I leave the back door to my house unlocked all the time, so the police can come and go as they please. It's not like I'm protecting nuclear bombs or anything. And criminals always use the front door.
  13. The socialist has socialist labor practices. Film at 11.
  14. Yeah, saw that. That's comparatively normal creepiness.
  15. Between this, the Macy's fat-shaming plate issue, Ivanka's Nazi dog adoption, and the whole "a woman having her testicles waxed is a human right," this is the most surreal week I can remember in a long while. And it's only Monday.
  16. Didn't she already admit she made it up? How is there still a dispute?
  17. As a private citizen, he technically doesn't have a superior any more. If Mueller doesn't stick to the report - if his testimony adds to it, or changes it in any way - it impugns his entire investigation. They're certainly not afraid of him diverging from the report.
  18. China's 2020 defense budget is an estimated $180 billion. DoD's human resources spending is $160 billion. Only O&M is larger - $270 billion. And the single biggest line item in those two areas is healthcare - $33B, more than the next three biggest line items combined ($10B for Navy depot maintenance, $9B for Air Force contractor support, and $9B for Army base ops). Defense spending is a problem...but the problem isn't what everyone thinks it is.
  19. But you know what the gay couple in Kabul and the homeless guy in Uzbekistan don't have? Student loan debt. They're so much better off.
