  1. thats not bad, go to a sporting event or concert Also, go on Tuesday nights. i went last night with my girlfriend to see Wanted, $4.20 a ticket
  2. Maybe because at Netflix, you can't get a movie that is in theatres right now and would have to wait for it to go to DVD first. If I wanted to see The new Incredible Hulk, or Wanted or Ironman, I would have to go to the theatre or wait like 6 months for it to go to DVD
  3. I had to correct myself, Grossman was the starter
  4. Edwards hasn't led them to the playoffs yet either
  5. Well if you include non-draft picks or coaches, then I would say JP doesn't even make the top ten Between coaching, and FA pickups, theres definitly a couple better choices. I just assumed they meant draft picks being busts
  6. But shouldn't OrtonGrossman be considered the starter? He was the QB when they made the playoffs and the SB, and according to most, making the playoffs is a benchmark of being a good QB EDIT - Why the hell did I put Orton there?
  7. Thats why I never keep more then a couple of hundred dollars in my account (Well that and because I don't have any more money then that, lol)
  8. You make some good points. Probably the biggest reason why they figure him to be such a bust is because of where he was drafted and how much they gave up for him, which I can understand. The probelm is that I guess I don't factor in draft positioning as much as they do. If, for example, lets say in 5 years McKelvin has been a good but not great CB in the league and yet to make a Pro Bowl, and Hardy can't pass josh Reed on the depth chart, who would be considered the Bust? Many would probably say McKelvin because he was drafted with such a high pick in the first round, compared to Hardy who was drafted in the second and wasn't the top WR taken. The part about being a project though, maybe project isn't the right word, but he sort of is/was. All of his write ups when he was drafted all said he would take more time then the others to develop because he was coming into the league Raw and did not come from a NFL system in school. Thats also why I feel that for him, Buffalo was probably the worst place for him to end up cause they needed someone more NFL ready, and could step in and develop faster, not someone who still needed work.
  9. Well, thats kind of trying to re-write history there He missed year 1 due to being injured in TC Year 2 was his first real season, and the team decided to throw him to the wolves as the starter that year, and yes most blamed Mularky, he was the guy that decided to play him like a yo-yo and pull him in and out of a game for Holcomb all the time. Year 3 he was mediocre at best to start the season, the first year that they had him fight for the job in TC, and he was better then mediocre in the second half, he was actually one of the top rated QB's in the second half of the season. You can blame that on "a couple good games" but the same can be said for Trent who had "a couple of good games" to boost his stats Year 4 he did not stink it up in TC, most reports said he looked pretty good (didn't they also have reports that during a period of time in TC that no passes were hitting the ground and the receivers were catching everything?). As for the Season, the entire team didn't look great starting last season, and part of that may be due to them starting the season against the teams they did. And you can't say he was horrid in the NE game seeing as how he only took what, 3 snaps in the game before getting hurt? Upgrading the Receiving corps was a priority, and they tried to pickup a FA WR, but felt the draft had better quality as the ones that were available weren't that good. The team had even said that one of their priorities was to bring in a better WR. Everyone here kept saying that they need to bring in better WR's and a TE to give Edwards more targets. And read any draft projection of JP, it says that he is coming out of college Raw and will take longer to develop then the other QB's. It took Eli Manning 4 seasons to "get it" (Up until about half way through the year, almost all the Pre-game shows were talking about how this could be Eli's make or break season in NY, and how fans were already giving up on him, and he had started almost twice as many games)
  10. Good point, I could think of some othr players that I would say in the last 5 years had potential and impressed me less, but probably woudn't be considered because they weren't first rounders, or the Bills didn't give up a bunch of resources for them. Youbouty - When drafted there was talk that he could have been a 1st rounder if he had stayed in college for one more year and that he could have been a steal. Instead, now going into his third year, and having plenty of chances to get some playing time with all the injuries at CB, he still couldn't make the starting linup, and the Bills drafted a couple of CB's who are going to be pushing for his job. Everett - I know this probably isn't a popular choice or the most PC one because of what he went through last year, but he was supposed to become a starting TE for the Bills but never showed it when he wasn't hurt. If it wasn't for his injury, this probably would have been his "Make or Break" year I just find it funny how Losman is considered a bust, or can be judged off of last season, when most would agree that the OC was a major problem for the Bills, and that the WR core was mediocre at best, and that improving it is a priority for Edwards, but was good enough for JP to be judged. That isn't saying he was ever going to be the guy we all wanted, but he came out of the draft as a project, and I thin that Buffalo was the wrong place for his career because they needed someone who could come in right away, not someone who would take more time to adjust and develop to the NFL
  11. Well seeing as how I don't have any kids yet and probably wont for atleast a few more years, my eventual kids will still have a chance to get in on the prelimenary planning of designing the bridge that will replace/twin span the existing bridge.
  12. I bought my girlfriend a Tom Tom One for christmas and I have used it a few times, and i don't find that telling me the street name would have really helped that much more. Its a nice feature, but not a thing that would make me buy one or the other. Also Tom Tom advertises that they can give you up to date traffic reports, but thats only a feature in Europe right now, and is not here in North America yet (or last time I heard it isn't) The Tom Tom is a great unit, and affordable The difference is that one will only tell you to turn left in a certain distance, the other will tell you the distance and the street name.
  13. Since I had already heard about him getting married, I didn't bother reading the article
  14. CD, Album (vinyl) or Cassette? I have never owned vinyl The first cassette was probably one of Weird Al's The first CD I ever purchased myself I think was STP - Purple, the first one I received though I think was REM - Monster
  15. He released a statement and was going to the DMV to finalise everything (don't know why the DMV, but thats what they said on the radio) He also said that he won't be discussing it at all with the media, and if they have questions pretty much just refer to the statement he made I believe he is just getting some community service or something
  16. And he also may never be even close to the player he was before after suffering 2 injuries that could have been career threatening. Bentley pre-injury no doubt would be a great move for Buffalo to bring in to improve the line, Bentley post injury is taking a huge chance because theres no knowing if he can get back to that same level.
  17. I know, I just meant before they just cut him, why would they not have tried to swing a deal with a team like Buffalo if they are interested in a centre and the browns are interested in Youbouty?
  18. Also, he had a bet going with 2 other players on the team over who would get married first, or something like that, and he won it now with this, no one knew he was with someone or that he was close to getting married when he made the bet apparently
  19. This could be much worse. Atleast he was in the privacy of his own backyard, using his own picnic table. I don't even think giving him 6 months is fair. The embarrassment of this becoming public should be harsh enough. The guy didn't sneak over to a neighbors yard to do it, he didn't do it out in public infront of everyone, he did it somewhere that should be private enough. He didn't do it to a child, or someone who was unwilling where it could be considered rape This guy is not a danger to society because he "gets his rocks off" by humping a hole in a table top. He's no more of a danger then someone having sex with a blow up doll or the "pocket kitty" (as someone suggested). I could think of many other things that people do sexually that I would think make them more messed up then this guy
  20. But remember, he is Japanese, and they have "tiny Penis", unlike the Americans with their "Huge/Gargantuan Penis" And if he was good, he would have made a replica of her in oragami
  21. According to some here, that wouldn't have been a problem because McKelvin is a corner and they should have drafted a linemen anyways, no matter what the FO thinks is best
  22. Of course he would be, according to the experts here, anyone is an upgrade who would without a doubt beat out the second worst centre in the league (Fowler) except for the worst centre in the league (Preston) Fans always over hype players not on the team. Fowler is not a horrible centre. He has the intellegence, to be a great player, but the fans here complain that he isn't the biggest or the nastiest most physical player so they put him down as being horrible. I don't think that any changes are necessary to the o-line, except adding some more depth (better depth is always good, but not something you draft early for like some here want). Fowler isn't the greatest, but he is no where near the worst. He isn't a plus, but he also isn't a minus, and I don't know if you will find anyone who can step right in and be a plus on the open market, teams don't usually let those guys walk or if they do, they aren't on the market long. (A 100% healthy Bentley could be a huge plus though, if he is back to his former self, but if he was, i don't see the Browns just letting him go and absorbing the cap hit for his remaining contract.)
  23. My only concerns are, if both those players were really that great and an improvement, why were they made available for nothing? If Bentley is healed and would be an upgrade, why would Clevland cut him? If they have any interest in youbouty like the rumors say, why wouldn't they try to make a deal to swap guys if Buffalo has interest in bentlewy, instead of just cutting him? And if Datish was any good, why would a team like Atlanta not want him?
  24. They are just preparing them for the real world, where they will need to draw up the plans to apply for the proper building permits prior to construction
  25. Don't worry, thats the next device that will come standard in all cares after this takes off!
