  1. Is it possible that more people have MSNBC in HD than USA in HD? (I have both; I have no idea which is more popular nationwide.) BTW, for those of you with Time Warner in Buffalo, the game is in HD on 718.
  2. It seems that way for us hockey fans, but as a couple of people have mentioned, figure skating probably is a bigger draw for NBC.
  3. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showforum=14 THIS IS PPP. It's where this nonsense belongs.
  4. There is a forum for political discussion. Bring it there. Someone started this thread to discuss the Olympics, and by taking away from that and focusing the attention on yourself through a ridiculous post, you have been inconsiderate to the original poster and to anyone else who wants to discuss what he/she posted about. People don't want your type of post here, not because of your position, but because this isn't the right place for it. So go on your way, as you said you would.
  5. Anyway, back to the point at hand: I think figure skating actually outdraws hockey in much of this country.
  6. And none of it belongs in this thread or in this forum, which is why he's a jackass.
  7. Right. This is about politics. Jackass.
  8. Exactly. They'll be paying for the Bush money and the Reagan money anyway, what's a few trillion more? I guarantee you that other communities are taking advantage of this, knowing that the communities who don't take advantage STILL will share in the cost, so why not us?
  9. Dust. Wind. Dude. (Seriously, though, that was an entertaining post.)
  10. I agree. He seemed to be in every play when I saw his games this year.
  11. Except the Bills picked Tony Hunter before Jim Kelly in 1983. It would have been QB second. But your point is still right.
  12. Gronkowski the number 2 tight end? Cool. He's a local kid (Williamsville, I think).
  13. No, you didn't. It's a good book, too.
  14. Which question are you asking--the one at the title of the thread, or the one at the top of the poll? Very different questions. Want: Anyone but Chicago; I want to see the Bears game here. Which team do I think goes up there? Pittsburgh. Wasn't it Pittsburgh who started this with a well-attended preseason game? Or New England; traveling fans + it will complete the division cycle. Who should go? Jax.
  15. What, 'cause watching the pro bowl at a bar would make you a winner? You made the smart move, IMO.
  16. The "fever" is because several QBs who were so-called no-names in college, among them Messrs. Brady, Roethlisberger, Warner, and Flacco, have had some success in the NFL, prompting everyone to look at under-considered QBs as the future of the team. Cf. the early 90s, when everyone had to be into some no-name grunge band. As for LeFevour, I think you underrate him somewhat; he'd be a good fourth-round pick, and maybe a decent third-round pick.
  17. You're right. Which means it took Ryan to pull it all together (Sanchez is new but is not an improvement over Favre). I'll bet most people would be thrilled if he were the head coach here. I'm not even sure that he was annoying--it was the talking heads who over-covered him, who were annoying.
  18. How is everyone forgetting the ever-agile... Bill Buckner
  19. And, ANOTHER out-of-towner who could care less whether the team stays or moves, telling us what to do. You couldn't just have joined this guy's thread? http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...p;#entry1722228
  20. Why not? First place in the conference. And we deserve some fun. /This first-year season tix holder is having a LOT of fun.
  21. I posted above that I believe he was his own OC. There's a link up there, too.
  22. Twenty-four thousand posts and you're questioning whether someone can be entertained by the team? Or is your question out of curiosity for what Albany likes about the games?
  23. But you don't live here now and you have no vested interest in whether the team stays or goes. It's just as easy for you to root for the LA Bills; maybe even easier. So please, stop urging those of us who DO live here, and who consider the team to be part of the community as well as something to watch on Sundays, what to do with our money. We want the team HERE. Not to mention, there will be virtually no impact on the bottom line; just an embarrassment and an incentive to move.
  24. Another out-of-towner telling us whether we should support our team and try to keep it here.
