  1. I agree. The offseason chapter is over on monday and the REAL season begins. What most have failed to ponder is the slight chance that our o-line actually performs well....I may sound like your typical optimistic fan but if o-line is able to surprise, the 4-12 predictions will look very silly, very quickly.
  2. .....so you don't think an INT at the end of a tied game should have an affect on the outcome.....hmmm
  3. Can you come up with an example of the bad things? (not being a dick, just exploring the idea)
  4. Another option is to just to extend the 4th quarter without resetting possession. Letting them play on in sudden death format would probably be the most "natural" finish to a tied game, as it would give advantage to the team not playing catchup.
  5. There always needs to be the chance for a game to end on 1 play, regardless of the situation. Guaranteeing possessions creates some situations like this but it is not a 100% constant. That fragility is what makes NFL OT especially exciting.
  6. A field goal should result in a kickoff and 1 possession for the other team, a TD should end the game. Basically a "win by more than 3" type tiebreaker.
  7. The curse lives...without a doubt.
  8. You mean people watch games involving teams besides their favorite...???? I'm glad this thread was created to expose this new reality!
  9. Pretty good interview, although lots of typical Jauron-speak. Enjoyed hearing his confidence in Aaron Maybin and to hear he has immediate plans for him. - Team has responded well to Van Pelt, plays are the same. - Walkers' performance was not up to expectations and he was not improving. Feels Demetrius gives them a better chance immedietely, against NE. Likes the attitude of the O-line but knows NE will be a strong test. - Offensive Keys vs NE: "Do everything we can not to fuel their fire", work to avoid sacks/turnovers and try to put them on their heels. - Defensive Keys vs NE: "We have to really play well" (im not paraphrasing, thats what he said after sucking the pats d's for a few minutes) - Schobel is healthy and acknowledges his importance. Says Maybin has delivered so far and will be further tested this weekend. Says Maybin is ready for a limited pass-rush role on monday. - AVP and Trent are very close and communicate very well, re-iterated Fitz on the sideline relaying plays. Expects Trent to have a terrific year this year. - TO's health is good, practiced hard for 2 weeks and is ready. Thinks TO has been an outstanding teammate to date, very professional during practice and focused, quiet most of the time. - Never spoke to TO about his history, doesn't plan to have any issues. - Meeting with Ralph in Detroit was to mostly to meet w/ AVP, wanted to sit and get a feel for him as OC.
  10. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...-ready-to-roll/ The article supposes the raiders...I cant help but think it was the Bills.
  11. I'll be sure to keep an eye on the Las Vegas team. If they do well I would definitely support the Bills organization as a whole making the move to the UFL. It's clear by this time that we are not cut out for the NFL, but I bet we could be a contender in the UFL...think about it!
  12. Not to beat a dead horse but...what a waste of a season. Give Bobby the job now, give him a head start on producing a quality team for next year.
  13. Threads like this make me want to stay away from TSW at least until the season starts. Show you understand at least a little bit about how the NFL works and don't post really stupid crap like this, for my sanity and my faith in Bills fans please.
  14. if the bills could just rip through teams with a fast paced no huddle offense, would you really want them to do it in the preseason? didnt anyone ever tell you to wait till the games count?
  15. Aaron Maybin is much closer to Paup than Poz is.
  16. I would hate to watch any type of football with someone like you. Holy smokes.
  17. Wood has a lot to prove to himself and to the team. Stroud is a seasoned vet with no question marks around him.
  18. Do you show up at 1:10 for a 1 o'clock game? It sounds like if you used a little foresight and showed up early(like any ADULT with half a brain would've), the biggest issue of the day could've been avoided.
