  1. You do realize that good players, and even Pro Bowl ones, are often found in rounds not named 1, right?
  2. Though I agree with your point, the irony in the bolded quote makes me chuckle.
  3. Right. Smoking a joint is not really a huge deal. You seem to have forgotten the part about the loaded gun, the claim of stealing 20 bucks, and the hitting a pedestrian and leaving the scene (presumably, while drunk). How many felonies do you want? The man cannot make a good decision to save his life. Not to mention he is one screwup away from a year suspension. This guy needs to get gone. If we can bone a second round pick out of someone in the process, it would make all the sweeter.
  4. The only way that the Bills can screw this draft up, in my opinion, is to draft a TE or DB in the first 2 rounds. No one is talking about a TE at 9 because it isn't even a need of this team (other than depth for Nelson and Schouman).
  5. I'll take Marshawn's dreads over Ben's greasy mullet any day of the week.
  6. There is no other TBD poster that I would rather share a b-day with than good ole Chef Jim!
  7. And....? Who cares? The be all/end all goal of this football team should not be to make it to the conference championship game. I understand we haven't been to the playoffs this millennium, and a trip to the championship game would be a good thing, but to say that we should be like the Jets because they attained such a status is ridiculous, IMO.
  8. Wow...just wow. Where do you find these articles, man?!
  9. He would make a good midfielder.
  10. He was drafted in 09 because he had to redshirt after tranferring to Ill St. At least, that's my guess.
  11. Buddy and Chan did a finger puppet performance of Les Miserables. Ralph made a cameo, I heard.
  12. Pretty sure he was referring to fact that the Bills have been looking at NT Arthur Jones and WR Mike Williams.
  13. I saw it too...but, it was just a rehash of info that has already been put out there. Just repeating that "word in the locker room is Lynch wouldn't mind being traded". Not exactly how the OP put it, but that is what was said. Nothing to see here folks...keep movin'
  14. While it's more likely that Clausen will be available, it is also equally more likely that one less premier LT will be available - the Redskins are in the market for one now. We could be looking at 3 or 4 LTs off of the board by the time #9 rolls around. Not good, IMO... We need a LT before a QB.
  15. Simple research would go a long way in educating you. Maybe you wanna try it?
  16. Are these rhetorical questions, or are you truly asking for answers?
  17. Yeah, well, you got me. Happy? In none of the translations I have looked at, does it say anything about "love slaves". That seems to be something you added in for effect. The translation you cut and pasted could mean that, but it said "keep for yourselves". This could mean to keep them in some other form of servitude. Furthermore, as you will notice, the passage in Numbers 31 that you quoted is from Moses, not God. Moses is human, and therefore subject to the sinful nature and desires of man.
  18. When you were in Catholic school, were you told that all Bible stories were rosy, happy, milk, and honey? What you failed to include is the fact that the Midianites (Numbers 31) were a sinful people who were trying to lead the Israelites (God's people) into apostasy. To protect his people, God sent his wrath on on the Midianites. As far as your second reference this is a prophecy regarding the destruction of Babylon (the pagan empire that wanted to destroy the Israelites) - and you failed to include the verses 11-12. "I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir." Lovely stories? No. No one claimed that they were. Now, why don't you go back to your Christian skeptic manual and try again.
  19. Nah, I'll do what I please. But, thanks for telling me how and what to think. If it bugs you to be called out on making the same stupid comment over and over again...well, then don't do it. My keen police mind tells me that you were looking for a fight on the issue, however. The same mind tells me that no matter how valid the point I make and the time/effort I put into making it, it will not matter. I have no interest in wasting the next 3 hours of my life properly articulating my reasoning to you.
  20. And, you can tell this how? Because I made a sarcastic remark in a thread that is rapidly becoming a religious urinating contest? Ok... As far as debating with you the fine points of theology, history, and the Bible...well, I'll pass. This isn't the proper forum.
  21. So, this is why the life of a Bills fan is hell. So few believe in God!
