  1. Does inventing the K-gun entail "not telling Jim to run the no huddle"? Their was little genious except taking the riegns off of Jimbo. The K-gun piled up stats but was inherently flawed (as Parcells demonstrated) allowing your defense to spend way to much time on the field. Don't get me wrong, the K-gun was great but their was a time and place for it.
  2. Bush will be the first overall pick, no matter who is picking. Bush may be a once in a lifetime player and no team is going to pass on the next Barry Sanders to take the next Jonathan Ogden. I could argue that taking Ferguson might be a better pick but you try telling that to your teams fans. Saying the Texans "like" Bush is like saying guys "like" sex. The Teaxans need Bush, as does every other team outside of San Diego and Seattle.
  3. Sorry, didn't see your post.
  4. "high motor" = white guy
  5. Resistance (to your impending firing) is futile.
  6. Or the next Mike Williams?
  7. Where does the line to the retard rollercoaster start? (Please save your "right behind you" comments)
  8. Just clowning. I know he's a good football player but one has to wonder if he's a good NFL player. Right now, they are telling us that he's just good enough. Noe one needs to tell me about how good NFL players are. My brother was the best player on his HS football team and is probably the best player on his college team and I doubt he will even get a sniff of the NFL. A big bro can dream tho...
  9. He can't be related to Petr if he has any heart.
  10. Please tell me you are talking about Rick Jenneret and not Robbie. I'm starting to shudder thinking about that whole mess again. (Just for the record, I liked Rob too, I just don't think he liked football)
  11. Their is a reason you didn't know. He must have gotten the smarts or looks from the gene pool because he sure as hell didn't get the size or ability.
  12. Is Julius Jones on one of those "Dancing with the Stars/But can they Dance?/So you thought they could dance" reality shows?
  13. linky Here is the other. Also NSFW.
  14. linky Here is one. NSFW.
  15. That division is horrible, outside of Seattle, so I guess the time would never be better. Who would he hire as their coach? Jerry Gray? Steve Mariucci?
  16. This makes as much sense as Pete Carroll coming back to the NFL to coach Buffaro.
  17. linky I saw this. "Mention Bledsoe's name to any Patriots fan and he'll spit like a camel. Despite his once-in-a-generation arm, few players have sandbagged his teams more. With the mobility of a grandfather clock and a dogged indecisiveness, Bledsoe is like the water buffalo innocently taking a drink in the Serengeti -- you know it's only a matter of time before a mauling." ...and this "Having Bledsoe as your team's starting QB is like having dial-up Internet access; he's slow, he's clunky and he causes you to throw objects at the screen."
  18. Did you throw the pick, just like the "real" Bills?
  19. We should start calling Eric Moulds, OT, the opposite of TO.
  20. A real drunk wouldn't have had the loot to spend on anything other than booze.
  21. Well, if we want to get inot a philosophical debate on who the bigger loser is, wrestling fan or football fan, I don't have the energy. Nobody is perfect, except maybe Goldberg.
  22. Who whines when an athlete gets hurt? How many people on any given Sunday actually paint their faces? Most of the drunks at games are kids.(18-25) I think most people come here to vent their frustrations and get on with their lives when not posting messages. Maybe I'm just speakin for myself though...
  23. Sabres Rock...You're a rooster...Lets go Sabres ...atleast it's original...I think.
  24. The only reason I would suggest using Denver's blocking systems is that the system seems to make average OL-man play effectively. (see Trey Teague) As far as overall offensive scheme, a run heavy attack was supposed to be what we were getting this year. Somewhere, it seems to have been lost in translation. Everybody was clamoring about using JP like Rothlisburger but the Bills didn't seem committed to the run until JP was benched. I think MM and TC fell in love with JP's arm and forgot that he still has a ton to learn.
  25. Not to get too technical, but I was referring to the OL coach's (Teerlink?) techniques. They are effective, brutal and scary to opposing DL men. They zone block to the area where the ball carrier is headed while the OL men on the backside dive at the legs of the D-line to create cut back lanes. Defensive lineman loathe this style and are too worried about getting their knees blown out to care about tackling the damn RB. I just remembered we are going to see this first hand. Maybe we can give them a dose of their own medicine.
