  1. I too was and still am a JP supporter. He was treated very poorly and not given much of a chance to succeed under the previous regime and unfortunately by the time the new staff was in place he was too far gone for their liking. I don't think Dicky and Co. were fair to him in certain situations either but they made their choice with Trent and so far it has been a good one. I think JP would flourish in Turk's offense as it actually has some structure to it and that is what he needs. He will get his chance in the NFL and when he does I hope he is able to prove all of his naysayers wrong. As another poster said they think he will be a career back up. I'm not so sure about that because we haven't really seen JP at his full potential with a good line and a strong supporting cast.
  2. Yeah and you see where "Big Spending" got the Yank's..... Spending big is not always the answer. Spending smart is..
  3. Besides the fact Josh does a whole lot of trash talking out there. He is backing it up right now with solid play and good blocking. Its nice to have someone who isn't afraid to step up and take one on the chin for the team. Go Josh.....
  4. I'm a Bills homer not just one player. I like Trent a lot and I like our chances with him. But I have seen 2 extremely slow starts at home from him. I don't care that the Raiders sent the house constantly during the beginning of the game. He gets paid big bucks to read that and adjust. He was overthrowing, underthrowing and making rather poor decisions. He did have good drives mixed in. I was very impressed with the way he picked things up in the 4th but IMO it should have been done earlier. So don't call me a homer because I call out the poor play of the QB. He gets just as much blame as the rest of the team and yes I do like JP and Hamdan. Having 2 quality QB's backing up another is a great problem to have.
  5. Exactly..... Trent "The Untouchable" sucked @ss for 3 quarters and had the team not rallied behind him that game would have been a goner..
  6. Yeah... That would be ugly for sure. I don't think we are ready to play a J.P. run NE offense. I hope when it is his time to go he goes to the NFC.
  7. Speaking of Douches. I posted this in the crowd noise thread too. Didn't happen in the stadium but at the stadium... "By the way... Thanks to the ass hat in the white Chevy pick up in lot 3 at the end of the game that decided to destroy his truck by using my rear bumper as a can opener. If you read this you'll hopefully remember the black F-150 and the blue Honda you tried to squeeze through so you could get out on drive 3 to sit in traffic. I got a little scratch on the bumper. Looks like you tore the side of your truck up pretty good If you were drunk I hope hope your truck is as f***ed up as you were. Douche...."
  8. I thought it was pretty loud. I was in the Bud Red Zone and it took us a while to get going cause it was like sitting a car wash but I thought the stadium got rocking pretty well when needed.... By the way... Thanks to the ass hat in the white Chevy pick up in lot 3 at the end of the game that decided to destroy his truck by using my rear bumper as a can opener. 9. I agree with you.... The first quarter and a good portion of the 2nd was a friggin monsoon, it was raining sideways and the wind was whipping. Trent really didn't start getting it done until the weather started to break. Once the weather broke he was doing well. I'm not sold on him yet. He was faced with adversity in the weather and he didn't really do anything with it. I also noticed quite a few check downs that probably could have waited for the play to develop as the O line was giving him a lot of time to throw. All in all though it was a pretty decent day for him but he needs to get better with the weather issue.
  10. I'll second that.... Just keep in mind when ordering the mild are spicy, the medium are hot and the hot are well... Blistering.. Gotta love Duffs....
  11. BuffaloBilldo comes to mind for some reason. I don't know why.
  12. Outside of a dog a book is a man's best friend, inside a dog is too dark to read
  13. 6' - 265: The all mighty Run Stuffer baby!!! Either that or janitor.. I'd play where ever the Bills put me
  14. Hey... Who's the cutie in your avatar? she looks very farmiliar
  15. Well I put snow's on all 4 corners of my 4x4 truck cause I often times have to go out when most folks won't venture out on the roads. They do make a difference. And in my second line of work that often means life or death. There is no such thing as being too careful when it comes to winter driving. My 2 pennies.
  16. Unless I totally missed it I beleive it was Lee Evans who had the TD
  17. You are correct. There have been no rumblings that I have heard about closing the station and I work at Cornell.
  18. I know!! We are 3 friggin games into the season and some are saying the wheels have come off . I think some people need to drink more and think less. The wheels dont come off until we are under .500 and there is no chance for a comeback. Until then the lug nuts are secure and the bus is moving forward.
  19. Apparently the fact that Marsha is down in the dumps has worked its way down through the media and they are all mourning the loss of the one person that made him look good.
  20. Better hope Ole Mikey isn't reading the board cause he's not smart enough to figure something like that out. I mean do you really think a guy that uses crayons and milk cartons as a play book is that with it.
  21. Agreed.. He is not only a warrior on the field but in the locker room as well. TV will bounce back and with his experience will probably become a DB coach some where maybe even for the Bills this season. Just because he has slowed down in his latter years doesn't meen he has nothing to offer. It sounds as though he will be sticking around Buffalo for a while any way. Benching Spikes now = A slow and painful death for the Bills season. With him in at least we have a chance. He forces the other LB's mainly Fletcher to play to their fullest potential. He does this by being a dominating force both on and off the field and providing them with words of encouragement. If you want to call for someone to be benched I will ask a question asked many times here in the last couple of weeks, Why is Coy Wire still here?
