  1. It was a good read. I especially like the picture of the robot right next to the Bills blurb.
  2. I enjoy FFB and if anything being involved in the leagues I am in has heightened my interest in other players and other teams and causes some grief on Sundays with my wife when football is on all day long.
  3. Funny read but I have to say the error was intentional in the spirit of the rest of the article.
  4. The change from Ferotte to Culpeper is significant in terms of that position. I don't think anyone will argue that Culpepper is a fine QB. A fine QB that lost alot of time due to a knee injury. I didn't see any of the pre-season with the felons so I can't comment on how they look but I can say that I wouldn't write them into the SB yet. 10-6 seems attainable but not a SB run.
  5. I agree. The invisibility cloak we are under right now is helping. There is no pressure on this team right now other than the pressure they are putting on themselves and that of the coaching staff. I do beleive if they carry their pre-season play into the regular season they will gain alot of respect this year. If they continue to play as a team learn from their mistakes they may very well be contenders if not this season then next. GO BILLS!!
  6. They should not even be worn by Drew himself! Definetly go with JK
  7. I agree. I think one of the reasons we didn't see him block more last year is all of the turmoil in the locker room. With all of that garbage going on it is really easy for a person to focus on themself and basically say phooey on the rest of the team. Jauron seems to have the Bills playing as a team again and I think Willis trusts JP a bit more this year so I expect to see more out of him in the regular season as far a blocking goes.
  8. Can't say as I would. But then again I'm not a GM. They get paid lots of money to make bone headed decisions like that. Me I do it for free with my fantasy league
  9. I see Pat's fans have digressed to trying to sell their team on opposing teams message boards. Why don't we let the teams decide who is better on the field. You both bring valid points to the table but who knows the robot could be ill that day or Lossman may throw for 500yds and 5 td's. You just don't know.
  10. JP has some weapons infront of him and definetly behind him. Lee, Willis, Roscoe and Peerless not to mention some stout 2nd stringers and he has a fairly agile line infront of him. He no doubt has the talent to lead the offense and as long as the coaches continue to foster an atmosphere where he can develop quality relationships and he continues to do so himself he will become an excellent QB.
  11. Tasker messing up while broadcasting. No way. I won't beleive it.
  12. Is that even possible From the chin down he looks like a giant oak tree
  13. Ok so I played football from 3rd grade on through my senior year. I played Linebacker on defense and fullback on offense. I was one of the best linebackers in my division and I was a stout fullback. I was big, strong and quick on my feet. I had great coaches and team mates. My question is does this qualify me to coach a football team or make suggestions on how to coach a football team. NO! what my accomplishments did for me was to make me a solid football player not a coach or advisor. Life experience, leadership ability and good communication skills to name a few are what good coaches use in their everyday lives on and off the field case in point Marv Levy. Just because someone is good at a sport / position doesn't make them a viable contender for a coaching job. I have knowledge of football and I often offer my opinion but thats all it is My Opinion.
  14. I think he looks like Fire Marshall Bill from in living color http://www.buffalobills.com/team/coaches.jsp www.geocities.com/hollywood/ academy/6067/fire.jpg
  15. So here is my take on what might transpire in '06. There will be no open competition. Holcomb has proven himself as a solid #2 and a potential starter. With the shake up in the front office and Levy coming back to Buffalo I don't think there will be too many roster changes in the higher profile positions. Holcomb will start and split time with JP which is what should have happened this year. JP has the potential to become a great QB and I think he gets one more season. He was thrown to the wolves with an O line that has more holes in it than a pasta strainer. Holcomb with his experience was able to make plays that JP couldn't see. JP got quite an education this season losing his job to Kelly but he also had some impressive plays on the field. I take you back to the Miami game in which JP hit Lee evans for 3 td's in the first 8 minutes of the game and then the rest of the team layed down and blew it. Then there is the KC game where Kelly went out and JP came in to win it for us. It wasn't pretty but none of our wins were this season. The best game that team played they lost and that was to NE in "Thier House". We don't need a back field on either side of the ball we need lines that can stuff the run and make holes so Willis can prove he is the best. One more thing. Nate needs to move on and I hate to say it Moulds needs to stay one more season and learn how to catch a pass from JP. The Bills have entered yet another rebuilding year but I think ML and MM can turn this team around and Ralph will give them the freedom to do just that. '06 should be an iteresting season. Just my 2 pennies
  16. If you watch the games you will see that we are already starting "barely starters" The offensive line sucks, the defensive line sucks, our lockdown corner is getting worse with every game so what is the harm of putting the newbies in and letting them prepare for next season? In my opinion barely starting is far better than what we have now. Play'em or just bench'em all!
  17. Well stats don't lie and Fletch and Milloy are the Bill's 2 leading tacklers. So obviously they are doing something right. I agree their pass coverage lacks a bit but the Bills have one of the better passing defenses in the league. I would focus my energy on the lines on both sides of the ball because we are not lacking too much in the back fields. The O line is pretty much a revolving door as is evident when Losman gets 3 steps into a 5 step drop and he has defenders in his face. The D line is pretty much the same. We should have at least a defensive tackle as one of our leading tacklers. Our secondary is too busy trying to make up for the sloppy play of the line that they can't really play good pass coverage.
  18. Good post Dee! I agree with pass. 2 of 3 of Josh Reed's dropped passes would have resulted in touchdowns. I do have to disagree with Dee on one thing Eric Moulds. He gets stuffed more than a Thanksgiving turkey.
  19. So the Wifey and I were at the game on Sunday and we had seats in sect. 316 right near the Kelly Club. We had aboot 20 drunk Canadians behind us spilling beer, screaming obcenities and talking aboot hockey all day. When ever the Bills had a great play we would get a golden shower (the beer kind) They were extremely rowdy and one of them puked right in the isle. I got hit aboot 5 times with paper air planes and crumpled up programs. One of the guys got to yelling so loudly his partial flew right out of his mouth and landed in the beer of the guy sitting next to us (funny cause it wasn't my beer) At this point we were close to the end of the 3rd quarter and the security guys just sat there and watched. Why? because they weren't being violent. Now right around the end of the 4th quarter one of them has a large plastic cup full of ice with a lid on it and threw it into the crowd in the level below us yelling some sh*t aboot the leafs and it hit some guy square in the back of the head. Security came up at that point and said " If I see you do that again all of you are outta here " Theres 4 friggin minutes left in the game! They probably could have given 2 craps at that point. You get what you pay for with the cheap seats.
  20. Sunny and around 60 last I heard. I'm gonna be there myself and it just doesn't seem right that you can go to a game at the Ralph in mid November in a t shirt. Damn global warming some one call Bruschi and see if he can reverse it. GO BILLS!
