  1. Of course we should make him an offer...expect TD to offer him about 5 yrs 20-25 million with 5 mil signing. He will get better from other teams and we lose him.
  2. Willis McGimpee
  3. I think he gives dad credit for the lessons learned, and the values instilled. Maybe his mother was the issue...who cares...excellent read no matter where you grew up.
  4. Bottom line is that it is not how many loses you have, but who you lost to. The losses to Jax and Baltimore leave us with NO chance of getting a wild card over them unless we have a better record. No matter how good the Bills play the remainder of the year, we still need help from other teams.
  5. Not sure I understand the wild card.....seems like both Baltimore and Jax have the tie breaker over us, so we need to have a better record than both those teams. Looks like the only team we have the tie breaker over is the Jets. We have it over Denver too, but looks like they are not in the mix.
  6. How can anyone not see that it is Terrence McGee...he has setup this team with great field position.
  7. Let's keep some perspective here....the Bills are a vastly better team today than they were on opening day. But they have some FAs to sign (Williams and Jennings), and a QB situation which is shaky at best. I just hope next year we keep the momentum.
  8. Mike Carey Johnny Greer
  9. Will they have enough to resign Brady, Dillon, Law? Big paydays are coming up.
  10. The amazing part is that it is a franchise record for points over 5 games...which amazes me since I thought the 1990's Bills offense put up big numbers.
  11. This is my fear that they get overconfident and blow the game when the playoffs are in their hands.
  12. Polian is a shrewd GM, and I believe he will avoid getting into cap hell. Having said that, the Colts are a team built to put fans in the seats, make money, and make the playoff every year. There is no expectations that they will make a run, just play consistently well enough to make the playoffs. If they should get lucky against a NE or Pitt team, it is possible that they could play SD in the AFC Championship game and the weather will favor the Colts Offense.
  13. I just hope the Bills do not lay an egg against SF by looking ahead to the Pitt game. By the 4:05 start next week part of the above scenario will be played, and I hope the Bills do not get either too excited or too upset with the early game results.....FOCUS!
  14. Obie...have to love that optimism....why do you say that Losman is a success?
  15. This reminds me of the Ravens situation a few years back.....a hot QB that won them a Super Bowl....release him after the SB win. I doubt SD will win the SB, but I would not be surprised to see them in the AFC Championship game.
  16. I bet he parlays either Rivers or Brees into something..similar to TD parlaying Peerless. Last year was on Bulters short watch. I always thought we should have hired AJ, but Butler convinced him to go to SD, a team that will be competitive for years to come.
  17. Exactly....unitl we see improvement next year, it is hard to state the TD or MM are amazing. I look at San Diego, and I see AJ Smith who could have been our GM.
  18. Of course Rich..... Actually, though I do not like TD, it is hard to argue with his results....he does win 1/3 of the games since being hired.
  19. I think it is clear that he will be signed and traded. AJ Smith should have known better, but pulled a TD and drafted a position player they did not need.
  20. Todd....I agree Actually, do you think that Wiley is better than Denny or Kelsay? Forget the cap number...who would you rather have?
  21. Look at teams such as Carolina and Cincy....both had good to great years last season, both are marginal this season. I think Mularkey is doing a great job, and I believe TD hit this one correctly. Though I am leary that this team can sustain the momentum over the off season, and furthermore, I think TD will have some tough decisions this off season. If I was Ralph (and maybe he knows more about football than I, but I considre myself pretty astute), I would wait till 4 games into next season before extending TD contract.
  22. I think the Bills are finally playing well, but Ralph is getting senile to say that TD has this job as long as he wants it. Let's say the Bills finish 9-7, a great comeback from 1-5, but still no playoffs. I think I would want to see how he does next season, make sure that the Bills are competitive from the start of the season. Another 1-5 start would doom him in my eyes. He has to prove consistency.
  23. Maybe the wheels are coming off the Pats bus....they will have some big paydays coming up, and will need to clean house and suck...always go out on top. For the record, I bet that ND is not better with Weis than with Willingham. Keep in mind, the college coach is a recruiter first, a game day strategist second.
  24. Other teams have figured out how to scheme against our defense....I thinkn Cleveland needs to look at the O Coordinator and say...dude it is your job to figure out a scheme to beat them.
  25. It was a ploy by the NHLPA to turn the fans against the owners and not the players. They are saying "We gave back 24%" and the owners want more" Goodnow is trying to make it such that the owners are greedy. Unfortunately, financially weak teams would not just fold, as the "brand name" has value, so those owners would want some compensation to go away quietly.
