I do not think Ralph wants to sell the team. I think what happened is that Ralph wanted a GM who would get us out of cap and try to build a competitive team. Over the last 10 years, the Bills have consistently had running backs who have had 1-2 great seasons, but could not sustain it. I am not saying that McGahee falls into this category, more saying that we should be more cautious. Not since Thurman Thomas have we had a truly consistent RB. Players like Holmes, Smith, Bryson, Morris and Henry fill my minds with potential based on a few seasons, but ultimately never panned out. I am just a little reserved about McGahee until I see a full year as the #1 back, and probably 2-3 yrs of consistent production.

I would begin to purge the team by getting rid of high priced players such as Thomas, Seau, Taylor, Fiedler. Hire Spurrier, he will fill seats for the first year there. Draft smartly around a offense for Spurrier. Pick up free agents on defense. If that does not work..who cares!

Basically what I read here is that injuries have created opportunities that have helped this team. WM for TH Tucker for Teague McGee for Vincent I believe the reason the Bills are winning is that they are catching teams at the right moment. The Bills are finally taking advantages of the other teams mistakes. I like that!

Will he end up being an offseason cut? Are they trying to assess if Evans can be the #1 WR next year? I did not see any injury news either.
