  1. It's some guy named Marc Lawrence in Las Vegas. Basic point is Bills are 1-7-1 in last 9 years in week 7, and this is week 7. Meaningful.
  2. And because so very many people said he was going to be a bust when drafted. Few people want to admit they made a mistake, so they pounce on everything he does to sustain their initial incorrect opinion.
  3. Nah, rain in AM, cloudy afternoon. 57 and 13 MPH winds. Paradise.
  4. That statement does not make walking around sense. You have no idea what the lay of the land will be in January. Your statement assumes the Bills will be 10-7 and eliminated in round 1 of the playoffs. But that is just your supposition, nothing more. And asking people if they are happy with your pessimistic supposition is just dumb.
  5. Agree. People seem to think it is automatic for an offense/athlete to always bring its "A" game and score 48 points like against Miami. Sports don't work that way. You don't always have your A game, and winning with your C game is the mark of a great athlete-- like great pitchers in baseball.
  6. Tried to do it but failed. Just go to BN sports page, it's right there. It's funny, the word sn*tched is not a permitted word on the forum. 🙂
  7. It is behind a pay wall so I won't link it, but he has a very different take on the Giants game. In a nutshell, he shows that in the first half, the Giants did an excellent job of taking away what the Bills want to do-- an explosive offense. A combination of good blitzes, and excellent man-to-man coverage aided by lots of tripping and clutching and grabbing by the Giants, utterly spoiled the Bills game plan. Allen was 8-18. In the second half, Dorsey totally changed course and went with a ground and pound running approach that worked. In their first two possessions (they only had three) the Bills had two long time consuming drives that used up most of the clock. 17 run plays and only 11 passes, and it nullified what the Giants successfully did in the first half. Allen, with pressure off due to a solid running attack, was 10-11 in the second half, the incompletion being the pass to Knox late. On that play, Allen had a run/pass option, and he hesitated in his decision making. He thought about running and held the ball a tad too long before making the throw to Knox. The result was a poor throw that still could have been caught. But the play call was excellent and should have ended the game but the execution was poor. I know everyone hates Dorsey right now, and I guess it is understandable and perhaps warranted. But his ability to change approach in the second half and ***** victory from the jaws of defeat deserves some credit IMO.
  8. Lamar with a near pic floater.
  9. Ravens should have come over on Friday. They seem to be blowing a lead. Oh,never mind, it's their MO.
  10. Nah it's Smoking Man from the X-Files...
  11. Your sweeping generalizations about being elite after a tough loss are meaningless. It's a week to week league and teams go from looking dominant to effing up week to week. This loss was totally predictable. Jags looked average after 4 weeks, and got to sit in London waiting for a jet-lagged Bills team to show up on Friday licking their chops to show the world they are an elite team. Bills coming off a huge critical blowout of Miami are flat both physically and mentally. Bills down 5 defensive starters most of the game. Yet they hung in and still had a chance to win late. Poor game from an excellent team against a very good motivated team and still close at the end. Given the 5 game body of work, it suggests the Bills are one of about 7 or 8 teams that are likely to win the SB.... I call that elite.
  12. Predictable outcome. Big win last week in critical game. Fly overseas. Highly motivated Jags team totally acclimated. On to next week. Everything is still before this team. Injuries troubling. but that's football.
  13. Elam is so bad. Maybe he can be a safety, but not a CB.
  14. Really? You don't seem to know what you are watching. On the Allen TD, it was not a designed run, Allen had an option to run if the defense looked a certain way. It did, and Allen walked in untouched because he knows what he is doing. But we need to complain I suppose.
  15. Matt, I don't know what you saw, but game is on NFL Network. Maybe live stream on NFL Plus as well, as well as replay of course. This week's London game is only on Disney channels.
  16. When you totally dominate another team in all phases, it is hard to see nuance. I mean the offense did not need to be taking chances to get style points. The O-line was great against a great front 4. If they keep that up, the fundamentals are all there. And there are enough skill guys on offense to make the team explosive. So relax and do not overthink this.
