I've been a huge fan of Sheads. I know he tore his ACL late last year but I can't believe the Seahawks didn't tender him as an RFA. This is a great get for a team running a zone defense like we will be.
This is one I would really like to see get done
Man if I had to go with one on the list I'd probably take Malik Hooker. I'm really intrigued by Obi though. He has the size and athleticism that we desperately need against the Patriots.
With his size speed combo he can develop like Byron Jones and would be one of a handful of guys who might be able to slow down Rob Gronkowski.
In addition, he is a bigger Shaq Thompson who can be the LB/S combo that McDermott really likes to have on his roster. A really flexible, versatile behavior.
Anybody who thinks this guy is gonna be there at 44 is nuts
The Head Coach just had a presser that we pretty much said they are looking for accountable playeres who can lead and are good people off of the field. This is not going to happen
I'm not in love with re-signing Zach Brown to a long term deal tbh. He's been a journeyman his whole career. He is not the best run defender, and he's only had one season where he played above his skill level(last season). If the contract is right then fine but giving this guy 5-6 mill a season will blow up on you
It's not really up to Lynn unless he gets a head coaching gig. The Bills, if they want, can block Lynn going to another team to be an OC because he is under contract to the Bills. That's where all this is coming from
This defensive personnel is still better suited for a 4-3 instead of a 3-4. With the current personnel not including FAs
LDE- Shaq Lawson
DT- Kyle Williams/Adolphus Washington
NT- Marcelo Dareus
RDE- Jerry Hughes
SLB- Reggie Ragland
MLB- Preston Brown
WLB- ?????????
CB-Darby
CB- FA/Draft/Seymour
FS- Corey Graham????
SS- ????????
He reminds me very much of when Mike Tomlin was hired by Pittsburgh. If you recall, Tomlin was a green behind the ears coach with a lot of energy who dcoordinated a top notch defense(Minnesota). A lot of people thought Tomlin was just the Rooney Rule guy for the Steelers and not a serious candidate then everyone was shocked when he was hired
None. I've always been a believer that when you get to the pros, you either have it or you don't as a player. Most NFL teams run variations of the same playbook, teach the same concepts, and go over the same drills. I'm not saying that players don't get better or worse but I think it has more to do with player repitition and learning as the game slows for them. I think that coaching has very little effect besides concepts. Just my opinion
I think the Taylor missed throw to Harvin was due to the DE on the edge and Taylors lack of height. Since Taylor is so short he had to throw it around the DE instead of being able to throw it over him which caused it to go wide
Except, it's not fool proof. Manufacturing noise during a play in a game is illegal and would result in fines, loss of draft picks, and delay of game penalties.
Yes, I know your half joking but I have also seen this 5 times already
Wilder was actually kind of a bust at FSU until his senior year. He runs really upright and doesn't always run as tough as his size. With that said if he is a roster guy he would prob be really good at STs.
Don't be sure on Davonte Allen yet. That site says he signed with the Bills but another site says he signed with the Eagles.
We have apparently signed Keith Lumpkin OT from Rutgers but it hasnt been updated yet.
