  1. LOL...yeah--its been pretty much torture from 1967-1987, 1994--present..why should anyhthing change??
  2. coulda run willis......shaved time off the clock....either scored and not allowed NO to score...Nice coaching--and another stellar defensive muscle up by the Jills at the tail end of a first half..
  3. nice--nowhere on 1st at the 29....no time off clock--leave NO plenty of time to score...gotta shake your head
  4. Over the last several years in the NFL...-is that VERY FEW correct conclusions can be drawn from even the first EIGHT weeks of play. Whether it was the Bills last year...the Bills the year before in the opposite manner..the Vikes...The dolphins..etc etc etc etc..-The main thing about the first 8 weeks is not to get yourself into too big of a hole. I've been guilty of some of the piling on(which is half the fun -admit it)..like last year when i was predicting a 4-12 record after the first few weeks.
  5. Moulds has gotten too big...not good for an older guy still in his 'late prime'..He looks too muscled up--and you dont see him getting separation the way he did 5 years ago.He looks like a linebacker out there.....that s%$# doesnt work for a receiver.
  6. I think he meant Barry MANN--who wrote 'who put the bomp in the bomp she bomp she bomp'......
  7. RIDICULOUS---Drew has some good stats...but he hasnt been that good for Dallas---...against WASH he throws a 2 yard pass on 4th and 4 to end thegame.1 loss on Drew. He throws a few good ones late against San Fran..big deal....--Last year DB was HORRIBLE--while the D was vailantly keeping us close in games.Sure---JP isnt ready---but we;d still be 1-2 with DB in there..espec ially with the D giving up GOBS of yards
  8. Seau is still playing football??--isnt he about 40???
  9. You forgot to mention AS's 'motor'.....its always chuggin'
  10. But he still has to win to prove himself. A bunch of smart moves doesnt necessarily=success. Is he a 'finisher'???..can he close the deal??--or are we gonna be mired in 'potential' for years and years and years. YES--he has made a lot of good moves--but those moves have still resulted in an unbalanced/disjointed team depending on a rookie QB ,an O line which is average at best..and now a defense which cant stop the run......5 years--TICK TICK TICK TICK
  11. I think he has been SOOO innaccurate though-------that it must be nerves/inexperience......it doesnt mean we should give up on him at all. I think he'll figure it out...
  12. TRUE--its bizarre how innaccurate he is.Even those 10 yarders to Josh Reed looked like such a big struggle. That and the lack of good instinct out there is what makes the whole thing disturbing...I would MUCH rather have him heave some wild ones down the field and have one or two picked off VS being so damn anal out there. He even bounced a side line pass----Todd Collins style.....
  13. But with Brady on this team we are 2-1 minimum--probbly 3-0...,,with manning same thing....--but having a great QB is the quickest path to success(and the most unlikely to happen)
  14. One thing i have noticed about the NFL---you can pretty much tell NOTHING the first eight weeks. It show yer doing down the stretch.--although i have been guilty of some of the piling on myself(it kinda fun:)
  15. Well--his bad decision making WAS like a broken record.
  16. He compares favorably to slow white men with motors.
  17. GREAT POST!!.... What I might add is that a big part of being successful is getting lucky with a great QB. Who really knew what a great QB Tom Brady would be??--But the poise he showed and the instincts he showed from day one were astounding.NE wouldnt have sniffed one SB without him. There is no one in the league even close to him--sorry Manning supporters---but TB is much more poised and much ,more clutch. So other than having the greatest D of all time(arguably Balti)--the greatest asset is a great QB---and getting one seems to be more a matter of luck than anything.
  18. Drew is playing like Drew.....mediocrely. He will frustrate the hell out of Cowboy fans by seasons end.-Especially since the Cowboys are not a good team and cant cover up for his weaknesses. Buffalo=Dallas in team talent and QB talent. DB is the better passer and JP is not a wooden indian.
  19. I just LOVED when he had about 10 seconds to throw deep in atlanta territory--no pressure...coulda made something happen easily---and he throws it out of the endzone.-That makes me question his basic football instincts.
  20. With Brady OR Montana in there we are likely 3-0 and for sure 2-1.
