Kelly-----I will agree with your current post.I call him a very good quarterback. He wasnt great--in the Marino,Elway,Montana sense...He was close to great though. Upon re-read--Your original post did NOT say that Gannon was a very good quarterback though.

Disagree.. Losman needs to sit,,,,,,,calm down...look at some things going on in the game.He was NOT learning out there.-in fact he was getting worse and getting into a panic/loss of confidence mode.The guy has played football all his life and cant even throw a straight ball???--that shows me he needs to be removed from the action FOR A WHILE..and get his head together.=-Maybe Holcomb wins a few games and we slowly work JP back in there..who knows??

I am not sure. But I think alot of people are writing this guy off as a journeyman/mediocre QB too quickly. Remember the team that he labored for in his prime years.They were god awful.--Name another QB on THAT team who did anything(I know--not proof that Holcomb is good -but makes you think). I can't help but think of Rich Gannon--written off as a journeyman/avg QB until he was OLDER than Holcomb is right now.--I always liked him as a QB..but he never seemed to get a solid chance and was playing on some pretty AVG teams.-I know--he was a great athlete and Holcomb is not..-but every time I saw Holcomb play I was either very impressed---or I remarked to myself that THIS IS NOT HIS FAULT. All I can say is RUN RUN RUN RUN..open it up with some passes..RUN RUN RUN....Keep the D off of Holcomb and wear them down.

...DB is doing well again???...uhmmmm 4th and 4 for the game vs WASH he throws a 2 yarder to his WR. 1st and goal against the raiders to win game.Doesnt get it done. Uhmmmm Drew is playing exactly like Drew,,He wil complete some very nice passes when he has a ton of protection..and he will screw a LOT up. Lets see how happy Dallas fans are with him after they finish the season 8-8 or 7-9. PS--I think Drew is a great guy and I hope he does better than I think he will.

Sorry to spoil the party////BUT..Does anyone realize that Favre has regularly thrown a TON of interceptions the past few years??? Sure---he has the occasional big game still that WOWS all of us.But overall he makes a LOT of terrible throws /decisions.

Right on. Let him roll out every time..lets him drive the other team nuts.You could run reverse/fake reverses..do options...quick hand offs with fake roll outs causing the D to lean like crazy/overpursue.Make the D's commit,,overpursue,get winded.Then have Willis ram it down their throats..-Let him have fun out there.Football isnt rocket science.The guy has been playing for many many years. If all of a sudden he looks completely flummoxed---maybe they are completeluy screwing him up by having him play unnaturally..
