ALASKA:--New York state is gonna have to at some point face their problems. The ONLY way out for them is to drastically cut pensions already promised and being given to teachers, different govt. workers etc etc etc.--The people have pretty much said NO MORE to prop tax INCREASES-- UNless they get some huge employers in WNY soon---drastic pension cuts,enormous cuts in services and other fun things are in store for the area. Too bad--I love Buffalo.

I think GMs everywhere need to get out of theur stupor and stop drafting these ENORMOUS O-lineman,--few of which turn out to be good(exc Ogden,the rams guy..a few others)..I think these HUGE guys just intimidate their opponents in college--an get exposed in the pros.

no---that is re: the mortgage interest deduction----another topic--but which seems to be losing momentum.....prop tax deuction is different I BELIEVE--but Im not sure--correct me if Im wrong...the mortg int one was supposed to have been adjusted for lower and higher housing cost areas--but probbly moot--cuz it wont get support...the prop tax thing is just as bad or worse.people are gonna have to yell and scream at GW the anti-republican and his anti-republican 'committee'.

Kelly and Marino did NOT become better QBs in their 30s..come ON!!!!--Kelly could barely move his arm and shoulder by the time he was 34--he looked like an old man because of the shoulder probs.Marino couldnt move at all cuz of the bad leg. ELWAY MAY have become a better QB to about age 35--soI'll give you that one.

I think you make some sense.....but you need to get INTO the playoffs.Look at the jets last year...they kicked Pits butt in the playoff game---and coulda been one game from the SB..and they certainly didnt look like a SB team.

I dont really think we can blame Mularkey at all for this mess.He has done a good job--with what he is given to work with.

After 5 years--a deteriorating team--with a weak offensive and defensive line---and a decent journeyman and completely unproven virtual rook at QB. A team with very good offensive talent which cant be utilized because of the foundation he failed to build.

Im not saying give up on JP---but he had protection on plenty of plays and did nothing at all with it.
