  1. LT was surrounded by all star D players. Bruce wasn't. So its not ridiculous--as you seem to be saying--to have the discussion. That said I would slightly lean toward LT.
  2. AND--track and Field...AND swimming....all BS.
  3. Thats really a difficult question. LT may be the best of all time. Bruce is right up there.-I don't think anyone with a brain can say decisively that one was better than the other. Its like asking who was better? Bach or Beethoven??
  4. details details
  5. interesting stuff....makes sense
  6. aahh..sounds good then..was wondering cuz the subject matter seemed a bit dry...
  7. without our STs we may have ended up 0-16 like those kooky Lions
  8. u think a DT will be sufficient given the fact that we have--with Schobel and Kelsay--the worst passrushing in football??? We dont need A damn good player on the D line--we need 2 damn good players--at least ONE of which is a DE.
  9. hot + dry+ arson....nightmare combinations---we get the same thing in California but usually avoid the large death tollls.....Must have really taken them by surprise.

  11. i remember him with the Bills--very talented player
  12. I dunno--I think Ralph looks preetty damn healthy for 90.....I bet his life expectancy is about 7 or 8 years.
  13. Given the choice--people dont wanna freeze their buns off----Buffalo would be much much more successful economically
  14. hehe--i was a kid too--but I remember the ladies in tyhe neighborhood complaining about being called unfashionable in Glenn dickeys article...
  15. Phillips was a way worse scumbag...and that Nebraska coach(Osbourne the phony christian??) was even a worse scumbag for letting the guy play after he dragged that girl by the hair. If that was my sister he did that to I woulda broke his legs.
  16. easily 7.5 over 3 years--as someone mentioned on another thread
  17. hey good for you --Congrats on the new job:)
  18. Kenny would be making 5 mil a year in todays league

  21. not really--but he was super nice to my niece and nephew when we ran into him outside of a mall many years ago
  22. I agree. Lets hope Ralph doesnt screw one of our best players out of $ just because he has leverage. 3 yrs at 2.5 per sounds just about right.
  23. Kelly,OJ, Bruce...none of them wanted to be here....Joe D did--but he is an unusual case
  24. "says Wilson himself, seated in an opulent, glass-walled office overlooking the Detroit River. He is a big, thick-shouldered man with a heavy, rather brooding face that conceals an easygoing manner graced with wit and candor. He leans back and gazes out the window on a bearing toward Buffalo, roughly 250 miles to the " Ralph--a big thick shouldered man................... time marches on folks --great article by the way--just classic
  25. oh ok---i stand corrected sir. was he the waterboy?....Alright---he had a couple of brief stints as asst coaches with cal and stanford......But I meant that his real coaching career started in the pros. And his first head coach position was in the pros before college-----The examples given were of head coaches going to the pros from college head coaching positions to pro head coaching positions. So i get your HUH.....but..
