There aren't *any* electronic/dance channels on the radio, which means I can either pay someone to do it for me (like Sirius), or spend the work doing it myself. iPods also don't have Sirius NFL Radio, NHL Home Ice, College Sports, News, etc.
Yep, it was an HDMI cable I bought from Monoprice to hook up my xbox via HDMI. When playing something requiring HDCP, it would fail. Switched the cable out, haven't had a problem since.
HDMI requires something called HDCP to display copy protected content. It could be that it tried to enable HDCP, and failed, causing it to display black on the screen. I've had HDMI cables work before for non HDCP-content, but fail and go to black when HDCP was needed.
