Yet they've been pretty decent at pass blocking that whole time. Hmm, strange.
-
You still haven't mentioned how they are one of the worst in football though.

!@#$ that prick. I hope he gets raped by a million flaming marshmellows.

Open letter to the !@#$s running Sirius, Thanks for not listening to all the subscribers clamoring for Boombox 39 to come back. It seems like you feel the little changes on Alt Nation, such as mixing in Pendulum, will be enough. Apparently you people don't understand music. Following Pendulum - Propane Nightmares on Alt Nation this afternoon was Blink 182. Let me repeat that, because you obviously don't understand the contrast. Pendulum versus Blink 182. Hell, let me link the two songs so you can compare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZBQMJlVXyc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3O97n2gWJg...feature=related Hear the difference? How in the world are these two songs on the same channel? You people continue to prove you have no idea what you are doing with the type of music that was on Boombox. You are trying to integrate it into a channel where it makes absolutely no sense to. Thanks to great radio stations like www.unitedbreaks.fm that aren't filled with the redundant garbage that Sirius is, I'm getting ready to drop my subscription. I'd stay around if Boombox was brought back, but you guys don't give a damn about that type of music. I've got to hand it to you, you guys managed to completely ruin Area 38 and Boombox all in one sweep, and now you are ruining other channels trying to fix it. Quite an accomplishment, I must say.

That's the big key, IMO. My feeling on Dicky J was that he always kept the team playing hard and together, and with some time and more talent acquisition, he could be successful. Never before had he lost a team. Now he has. Bye, bye, Dick.

Could be a couple possibilities. What are the permissions setup like on the FF folder? If you don't have write access under that account, it'll fail. Also, a corrupt profile might be a culprit. Try creating a new one and see if that works.

The Buffalo Bills woes can be blamed

*Current hometown. If I'm talking to non-buffalo people and they ask me where I'm from, I say Buffalo; however, with you guys, I'd say my hometown was where I was living, as we're all from Buffalo originally for the most part. -
Rak seems to have his head screwed on right. Since he started here, he has lived in the weight room, adding all sorts of muscle and what not. Here's an article on him in high school: http://insidetexas.com/news/story.php?article=634 He was tiny when he got to UT, and while he's put on a ton of weight, he's still not huge (6'3" 255). However, he's athletic as all hell. He's fast, and still somewhat strong, although not as strong as you'd like for the NFL, I think he'll be ok. He's a heckuva pass rusher, and he reads defenses well, knowing when to stay at home. He has all the moves in the book, and can defend the run too. He does seem to not be a force at times, but when you leave him one-on-one or with less blockers, he'll dominate. Looka t what he did to Loadholt in the Red River Shootout to understand how good the guy is. The key will be seeing exactly how fast he runs in the combine and how strong he really is. I think he's without a doubt a first-round talent easy; if I had to guess, I'd peg his value at #10 or so. He's a great player who will bring some pass rush to a team.

If there was one place I hoped the Bills would move to, it'd be SA - I think thats about the only way I could stay a fan, if they moved to my hometown. -
Nope, Lane is a RB, well, supposedly a RB. He had been benched somewhat this year for lack of performance, and has been at odds with A&M coaches. I wouldn't touch him. I also would grab Jermaine Gresham with that 2nd 1st round pick, and hit up the best overall O-lineman in the 2nd round.
-
I anticipated someone would argue the "Buffalo is in a worse situation" line. I wholeheartedly disagree. The Big 12 north was getting a ton better at that point, while Iowa State just flat out didn't recruit worth a lick under McCarney in the end years. It takes a whole lot less to turn a small conference program around than it does a big boy conference, especially when all the teams around you are jumping ahead leaps and bounds. Honestly, I hope Turner Gill doesn't take the Iowa State job. He can get a better one staying at Buffalo for another year.
-
Because turning around a college program is so like the NFL, right? I mean, sh--, its not like Turner Gill was 7-17 in his first two seasons with UB. If they had hired him, that woulda been like hiring Dick Jauron and magically hoping he would become a winner. Was that due to racism too? Or perhaps he's drawing attention to himself and his role as a victim.
-
Question for you Tim - whats your read on the situation? Has the contract been signed, and if so, why are the Bills so hush-hush about it? Has Jauron already been given his walking papers, or are they trying to keep it a secret because of its affect on the fan base?
-
No problem for the advice. Glad I could point you toward Trent! *grin* Naw man, sorry you lost, but I had fun this weekend, and I'm happy for Charly!

Barkley says.... "Out of all the coaches they interviewed, Chizik probably had the worst resume." A bit later he says... "They're not getting jobs where they can be successful. That's why I wanted Turner to get the Auburn job. He could win consistently at Auburn. You can't win consistently at New Mexico. You can't win consistently at Kansas State. He could have won at Auburn." Iowa State's program sucks a lot more than Kansas State. So, Charles, did you ever stop to think that maybe that factored into their decision with Chizik? Not that Chizik is the best choice, he isn't, but that argument is full of crap.

Ah, Wilson, NY. How I miss that place. My family used to own the boat house there, but it was sold several years back when my parents decided not to keep it. The story in my family is that the town is named after my family way back in the day.

Jauron should be fired for that playcall, and that play should cost Peters his big bonus. Complete crap all around.

Indeed, but we're mad at the BCS, not Oklahoma.
