  1. You are correct and I feel that Reed, Peters, Denney have all responded by stepping up their level of play and have been responsible for the teams turnaround this year.
  2. If Cowher retires, I believe that Dick LeBeau deserves the shot to be HC of that Steelers team. Heck, I think that Dick LeBeau deserves a shot at HC for any one of the impending HC vacancies around the league. I still feel he was the main reason for our teams success on defense and not Jerry Gray when he was here.
  3. Maybe Samuel's performance is a bi-product for playing on a team that is coached by "the genius". Do you think he could perform at that level if he came over to the Bills and adjusting to a new system? Here are Asante's stats over 4 seasons in the league: Asante Here are Nate's: Nate I think that Nate has been more consistent, is a better tackler, and has a nose for the endzone. Since the bye week, Nate has also been one of the best players on our Defense and I think he has earned the right to have a large contract thrown his way by the organization that drafted him.
  4. That is what I think is wrong with this franchise: our reluctance to offer contracts to players that we drafted. We did extend Schoebel and McGee, but other than that, who have we kept? We let go of Pat WIlliams, Antoine Winfield...we'll probably let go of McGahee. If I had the choice between signing Nate or Samuel, I would sign Nate because of his affiliation with the Bills organization even if it cost more than signing Samuel.
  5. I would like to re-sign Nate because McGee had a terrible season this year and I would not want to go into the season next year with Youboty, McGee, Thomas, Greer, and whatever FA or draft pick we get to be our starting secondary. Maybe McGee had a tough time adjusting to the new Defense Fewell installed, or maybe he was exposed as just a decent CB, but I have no faith in him taking over as the #1 and would not have any faith in Youboty taking over the #1 either. People are talking about Asanti Samuels, but lets face it, he is 2nd in the league in INTs which just increased his value 2-fold.
  6. They will get it too because I read in the NY Post a couple of weeks back that the Giants are interested in him as a replacement for Tiki.
  7. There is also the first game of the season when we went for it on 4th and 1 and WM didn't get the first down because he thought is was 3rd down. He did show some skills last game however. IIRC, when he got into the EZ, he lowered his shoulder and drove the Titan defender 4 yards back into the EZ. He also had a nice catch out of the backfield that got negated due to a Preston penalty. I think he has improved as the season has gone on, but I think he needs to be extended at a rate that is commensurate of his production. If it calls for extended him this offseason, do it, before he blows up next year because we draft a replacement this offseason and he becomes way too expensive for us to extend next year.
  8. I had a good friend who worked at the Ravenswood for quite a while. I'm not sure if she still works up there, but when we went, we had a great time with the free handouts and all. If you're from Saratoga, why don't you go out to Peabody's or the Stadium cafe? I am from the area, and I believe that that is where a couple of my Bills friends will be going to watch the game. If not, maybe we'll come up to the "Wood".
  9. Rosie looks like she wears underwear with dickholes in it.
  10. WOW! Transformers! More than meets the eye!
  11. This is some pretty good acid!
  12. I had a couple of good friends that I went to school with down there to work on golf courses. If you like to golf, it is the golf capital of the world with more golf courses per square mile than any other place on earth. When I went out to visit them we went out to a couple of local hangouts. I wasn't impressed with what they considered the "happening" places in Naples. I take it your about my age (27) and if acting like a wigger and posing as a wannabe thug that drives around in a tricked out Honda Civic or CRX with glow sticks in your back pocket, make the move. If you are into geriatrics with soft, pliable wrinkly skin who smell like moth balls, I would make the move to. If you allign somewhere in between these two extremes, I wouldn't expect much because there is very little middle ground from what I experienced.
  13. This is from USA Today: This is Buffalo: They're strength of schedule (0.817) is tied for the toughest in the league and tied with the Tennessee Titans. This is PIT: They're strength of scehdule is 0.517. USA Today
  14. I agree. I had the 3rd pick in the draft and when LT fell to me, I felt like I already had a steal in the draft.
  15. They have kept us in the game, but they are still a liability. The Titans as a team have 1,864 yards rushing as a team with T-Hen accounting for more than half of them. He put up over 100 yards rushing on Baltimore and is averaging 4.4/YPC. Since the Bye week, our team has given up 1,142 yards rushing on 215 carries. This turns out to be 5.3 YPC. This is to a poor Houston team that averaged 7.0 YPC against us and to an IND team, whom we couldn't stop in the 4th Quarter with 6:22 left in the ball game to get the ball back and make an effort to win the game. Here are the stats from that final drive: Indianapolis Colts at 06:22 1-10-IND31 (6:22) J.Addai right end to IND 39 for 8 yards (D.Whitner, L.Fletcher-Baker). 2-2-IND39 (5:44) P.Manning pass short left to D.Clark to IND 42 for 3 yards (A.Crowell). 1-10-IND42 (5:08) P.Manning pass short left to J.Addai to IND 44 for 2 yards (A.Crowell, T.Spikes). 2-8-IND44 (4:18) J.Addai right end to BUF 48 for 8 yards (D.Whitner). 1-10-BUF48 (3:32) J.Addai right tackle to BUF 46 for 2 yards (K.Williams). 2-8-BUF46 (2:48) J.Addai left end to BUF 38 for 8 yards (A.Hargrove). 1-10-BUF38 (2:33) J.Addai up the middle to BUF 32 for 6 yards (C.Kelsay, L.Fletcher-Baker). 2-4-BUF32 (2:00) J.Addai up the middle to BUF 25 for 7 yards (C.Kelsay). 1-10-BUF25 (1:16) P.Manning kneels to BUF 26 for -1 yards. 2-11-BUF26 (:40) P.Manning kneels to BUF 27 for -1 yards. They ran the ball 6 times 37 yards, icing the game. And to answer your question: in the last 4 games we have given up 659 yards rushing on 129 carries which equal 5.1 YPC. I think our run D is a liability, but we have made opportune stops on Defense to get their offense off the field.
  16. A karma thing that is working against us is Travis Henry. His favorite team growing up in Florida drafts him, he makes the Pro Bowl in his 2nd year, and then gets traded away after we select a stud RB out of Miami. T-Hen will be playing some inspired ball and I think it may hurt us considering the way our Run-D has been playing.
  17. Brand New - Play Crack The Sky---Saddest Song. Ever. We sent out the S.O.S. call It was a quarter past four in the morning when the storm broke our second anchor line Four months at sea, four months of calm seas only to be pounded in the shallows off the tip of Montauk Point They call them rogues, they travel fast and alone One hundred foot faces of God's good ocean gone wrong What they call love is a risk, cause you will always get hit out of nowhere by some wave and end up on your own The hole in the hull defied the crew's attempts to bail us out And flooded the engines and radio and half-buried bow Your tongue is a rudder It steers the whole ship Sends your words past your lips or keeps them safe behind your teeth But the wrong words will strand you Come off course while you sleep Sweep your boat out to sea or dashed to bits on the reef The vessel groans, the ocean pressures its frame Off the port I see the lighthouse through the sleet and rain And I wish for one more day to give my love and repay debts But the morning finds our bodies washed up thirty miles west They say that the captain stays fast with the ship through still and storm But this ain't the Dakota, and the water's cold We won't have to fight for long This is the end This story's old but it goes on and on until we disappear Calm me and let me taste the salt you breathed while we are underneath I am the one who haunts your dreams of mountains sunk below the sea I spoke the words but never gave a thought to what they all could mean I know that this is what you want A funeral keeps both of us apart You know that you are not alone Need you like water in my lungs This is the end
  18. Here is Wilson's stats. Hardly worthy of a PB nod.
  19. He blamed the Frosty for shrinkage.
  20. ...for putting up 33 points last night when I needed it most. This week was our championship game and I was down 23 points heading into the Chargers/Chiefs game and I was going up against Larry Johnson. There is no way I can win, right??? Not when you have LT on your team. He put up 33 and LJ only put up 8 giving me a 2 point victory + $450 in winnings.
  21. Melo suspended 15 games per ESPNews. Both organizations fined $500,000. Other players recieved multiple game suspensions. Nate Robinson got 10 games.
  22. God I hope they extend him. He has proven his worth since the bye week, pus I don't want to set this franchise back by having to develop another CB to take his place.
  23. I had a ton of respect for Melo get thrown out of the window. He sucker punched a NY Knicks rookie nobody who was playing because Isaih was pissed that DEN was running up the score and he wanted to send a "message". He then had the gall to run away to his bench after he threw the punch. Bottom line is, would you ever think about Michael Jordan doing something like this>
  24. Apparently. she's been stripped of her crown, and the first runner-up will be named the new Miss USA.
  25. Stuck In Cincy is a proponent of Justin Smith. He has been decent, not 4th overall phenomenal, but he has been productive and he is one of the few that hasn't been incarcerated for burglarly or buying alcohol for minors. *knocks on wood*
