  1. Pretty much my entire starting lineup. Before the Chargers/Broncos game tonight, i was down 63 to 21. Then Tomilinson happened and now I am up 70 to 63. I just hope that the Giants D doesn't put up more than 7 points tomorrow night. I started A-Train over Chester Taylor and Taylor put up 10 more points. OTOH, I lost McNabb for the year, and Colston for God only knows how long.
  2. Tomilinson is truly a class act. The same can be said about Madden. Seriously.
  3. From the article: No wonder there were no mentions of Lee Evans or Losman
  4. NBC + Primetime= Self proclaimed "Footbnall Night in America"
  5. Frank Gore gets props because SF defeated SEA. He didn't even get in the endzone Media is all over Brady, Urlacher, and Ocho Cinco's cocks, it is profoundly pathetic. It really doesn't surprise me tough, considering Brady is the "Golden Boy": Urlacher banged Paris Hilton: Ocho Cinco has matching mohawk and grill piece. 11/265/2TDS
  6. There are also guys (McGee, Whitner) who are supposed to contain the outside and prevent the RB from busting to the outside. Whitner was too aggressive and McGee wasn't aggressive enough.
  7. Watching FNIA (Football Night In America), they had the proverbial annointing of the "player of the day" award and the choices were as followed: Brian Urlacher: 11 tackles 1 INT Tom Brady: 200 some odd yards and 4 TDS Chad Johnson: 6 catches 190 yards 3 TDS Frank Gore: 214 yards rushing (SF franchise record) How is it that Lee Evans doesn't get any props for having the best recieving day of any WR in the NFL this year??? Or Losman, who (despite throwing an INT for a TD) lead his team from a comeback victory to throw for 340 and 3 TDS doesn't get mentioned either??? I for sure thought that one of these guys would be mentioned in the proverbial annointing. Do you guys think that their efforts weren't worthy of national recognition?
  8. This quote about sums up an entire fanbase's ineptitude. He says "perfect passes". Like that has anything to do with Kubiak
  9. As if he could even sniff the endzone 4 times.
  10. In my ESPN league, they control the official scorings and the recordings of stats. It was originally recorded as 1 TD. Yesterday, however, teh Eagles PR dept. released a statement saying that they reviewed the film and were changing the ruling from a fumble recovery to a passing TD for McNabb. Eliasa picked up on it, now the NFL is picking up on it. So it is officially a TD pass for McNabb and the appropriate changes should be made in your league. I technically was marked down for a "loss" in my league, losing by 10 points. After the rectification, I ended up winning by 1 point, 113-112. It is chincy, but it is the correct ruling.
  11. So the carpet will match the curtains
  12. I think it would be a better idea to have fans control what play to run next by via online vote. Kinda like the "what the audience thinks" in the TV Game "Who wants to be a Millionare?".
  13. SD Defense were good for -4 points for me. My other D was NO who didn't fair much better with a -5. I lost by 10 points this week. I benched Donald Driver though in favor of Holt, Roy WIlliams, and Marques Colston.
  14. Just look at the Jets draft this pasat year. In the 1st round, they selected Ferguson and Mangold. Seymore and WIlfork were held to 5 tackles between the two of them on Sunday. They also selected Washington who has provided spark for them. Couple their draft pick's production with the Mangina, you have a team that overachieves.
  15. Time to take stop treating JP with kid gloves and start taking aadvantage of what JP's strong points are. They allowed him to thorw the ball more earlier in the season. WTF happened the last 2 games??
  16. Fairchild is keeping him in the pocket which forces him to read defenses. I agree though...we should at least see a couple of moving pockets and allow JP to only read half of the field rather than the whole thing.
  17. I like every guy that you chose. I think I would do the same thing except Eli. I would be tempted to start Huard who has the hottest hand (other than Peyton) at QB. I am in a similar predicament. I am sitting pretty at 7-2, in first place, and I am playing the guy in second place at 6-3. Good luck!
  18. One of my good friends was unfortunately blessed with the last name of Beaver. He vowed that when he had a son, he was going to name him something unique that made him stand out above the crowd. That came to fruition a couple of months ago and he named his son Gladiator Harold Beaver. Sounds like Glad he ate her harry beaver.
  19. I wonder if this is a girlfriend or a "baby momma", because I know he just had a baby during training camp. If it is the baby momma, I'm sure Lick WIlly had something to do with it.
  20. For those who are curious about Karen, she is BOTD material.
  21. Do you know her???
  22. Jets fan, but just as bad if not worse. And no, if he offered me alcohol, chances of me finishing before sunrise were slim and next to none, because I NEEDED a drink after working through the chaos that was election night.
  23. Political News Television Station: RNN-TV I am really apolitical, but work with politicians from both sides on a daily basis, I have developed some efficacy.
  24. I do all that is asked of me and I strive to put together the best possible broadcast possible. I am very cautious where I step as to not step on any toes. The engineer could have asked the NYC crew what happened, but he doesn't correspond with them on a regular basis like he does with me. He took it upon himself to confront the HR director not only to stick up for me, but to display that his direct orders were ignored. You're right about the unionized aspect of the news business. We emphasize a communitve effort here because were aren't unionized. I often find myself doing jobs that I would rather not be a part of because it doesn't allign with my occupational responsibilities, but I help out wherever I can so I could develop good work karma.
  25. Like I said, I covered for him on numerous occasions. He would regularly show up to work late, when bosses called looking for him, I told them he was getting lunch. He regularly called in to work citing ailments as colitis, strep throat, whooping cough, etcc and he has only been with the company for 3 months. The day after election day, he called in sick to work. Management knew about his egregious behavior. I am little upset because he has called me up since his termination calling me a dick.
